Paradise Pasta, located in Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, is a great spot for pasta lovers looking for delicious and well-prepared dishes. One of the menu's highlights is the black squid pasta, which is exceptionally flavorful. The squid ink sauce is rich and well-balanced, coating the pasta perfectly without being too overpowering. The seafood is fresh, and the portion size is satisfying, making it a highly recommended dish for those who enjoy bold and unique flavours.
Beyond the food, the restaurant impresses with its efficiency. The dishes are served quickly, ensuring that customers don’t have to wait too long, even during busy hours. This is a major plus, especially for those looking for a quick yet high-quality meal in the heart of the city. Despite the fast service, the food remains well-prepared, indicating that the kitchen staff is experienced and well-organized.
The atmosphere of Paradise Pasta is another strong point. The space is airy and clean, creating a pleasant and comfortable dining environment. The restaurant is well-lit, with a simple yet cosy interior that makes it suitable for both casual outings and small gatherings. Even when the restaurant is crowded, the ventilation and layout prevent it from feeling too stuffy or cramped.
Service at Paradise Pasta is generally decent. The staff is polite and attentive, ensuring that customers feel welcome. However, because the restaurant is quite popular and often crowded, there are occasional lapses in service. Sometimes, the waitstaff forgets to bring out a dish or two from an order. That being said, they are quick to correct mistakes—if reminded, they immediately bring the missing dishes without any issues. While this minor inconvenience may be frustrating for some, the overall service experience remains positive due to the staff’s willingness to accommodate customers.
Overall, Paradise Pasta is a great choice for those looking to enjoy quality pasta in Ho Chi Minh City. The food, especially the black squid pasta, is delicious, and the restaurant maintains a clean and comfortable environment. While service could be more consistent during peak hours, the staff’s responsiveness helps mitigate any minor issues. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine with a local twist, this place is...
Read moreAvoid at all costs. There are better and cheaper pasta places in Saigon.
Second time trying this place thinking the first time was a fluke. The food here is horrible and there is nothing on menu to recommend.
The pasta both times were overcooked and mush, the sauces were not delicious. The pomodoro is just over spiced and salted, not a good sauce.
The carbonara bacon wasn’t good they just used slices of deli ham not even bacon.
We also had the steak and salmon. The steak was tough and smelled bad, it was dry and inedible. The salmon came out raw and had to be redone.
Last time we came was a few months ago and similar problems - the food was inedible, steak was freezer burned and dry, and some food came out either over cooked or raw. We gave them another chance and were disappointed.
Literally every single restaurant on that block is better than this place. It’s also not cheap at 700k for 2 people at lunch. We had dinner for 4 at a top notch Thai restaurant just two blocks...
Read moreIf I was Italian, I would have killed myself after eating here. Luckily I'm not, and will write a review instead. This place has various pasta dishes, many of them were however sold out when I went here.
The quality if the food was pretty bad. It was also quite pricy compared to other pasta places I've been to in saigon. I just got a plate with a half cooked pasta and 4 small pieces of bacon. It didn't taste anything. They also served me my food 10 minutes before my friend got his food. So my food was cold when my friend got his ( our whole purpose was to have dinner together).
The atmosphere was pretty bad as well, there were children screaming and parents letting their babies play with ipads and phones with loud volume. I couldn't even heard my friend talking.
I'm not coming back here ever. And I hope that you reading this will never go...
