Trung Nguyen Café Legend — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I'm disappointed with this store for 3 things:

Quality: I got Coffee No.4 with ice and milk, but the quality is not as good as in other branch (the best No.4 I've had is at Cong Hoa's branch). I asked for a bit more condensed milk and the staff added too much, and thus the coffee is not that good anymore.

The staff was quite inattentive: in other cafes, I find waiters and waitresses going around and serve water/ tea to customers. It would be nicer if Trung Nguyen can do it too (their staff just linger around the store though). At the counter, employees laugh and talk really loud. I was wondering if there's a store supervisor around.

The worst thing about this store is the music. Staff plays a Youtube list and there're just soooo many ads. They play all types of instrumental music, unlike in other brands where they play classical music. Sometimes, there's no music for hours, and then dance music (of course with no words as of the protocol). For such a big national chain, I expect them to standardize their playlist (and no ads).

Besides, the place is really noisy in the afternoon (since people meet up for business I guess). If you are looking for a nice cafe to sit down and read a book in the afternoon, just don't come here at that time. I sat at a table near the kitchen and the oily food odor lingers around, so I gotta move. In the evening, it's more peaceful when there are not that many people.

Definitely not coming...

Came here one morning to get a coconut coffee to go and was surprised with the flavour of the coffee.

The coconut coffee tastes more like a coconut dessert than necessarily a coffee, yet not in a bad way. There could have been a little more coffee in the drink since it was primarily iced coconut. (Sweetness of the coffee can be altered to liking)

Service is kind, speaks good enough English to have a small conversation and they have a good system in place in regards to the orders.

I got my coffee to go and it came with everything you would need or want it to come. The coconut shavings were nice, yet something that for me it could have gone without.

The cafe had a water/tea station where you could also get your selve serve items too.

It may be sound at first glance that this is a great place to have serious coffee and conversations or working. There are, unfortunately, many downsides that need to be addressed ASAP. Firstable, wireless is stuck at Wi-Fi 4 standard which is absolutely poor in performance. Secondly, the staff uniforms are easily stained by sweat. Thirdly, orders should be able to be made at table rather than at the cashiers, which is not convenient for serious and fast meetings. Customers are responsible for taking tea or fresh water on the own. One great upside is the quiet environment and some lovely flowers on tables. I have to say that this is the least recommended Trung Nguyen Legend branded place for me! Love to see improvements in near...
