Nestled in the heart of Thao Dien, this restaurant promises an intriguing culinary experience, yet our visit left us with mixed feelings. The location itself is quite appealing, situated in a vibrant district known for its eclectic dining options and night life. Upon arrival, the first thing that struck us was the quiet ambiance. While some might appreciate the tranquility, it felt rather sad to be the only client in the establishment, which somewhat detracted from the overall dining experience.
The menu presented a diverse selection of dishes, each sounding more tempting than the last. We were eager to see if the flavors matched the enticing descriptions. The food, while certainly good and well-prepared, did not quite meet the expectations set by the premium pricing. Each dish was flavorful (but too dry with my taste) but there seemed to be a missing element of creativity or flair that one would anticipate at such a cost. It’s not that the food was lacking, but simply that it didn’t deliver the wow factor we were hoping for.
On a brighter note, the staff provided impeccable service. From the moment we entered until we left, we were attended to with warmth and professionalism. The cute team was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. This level of service certainly enhanced our experience and left a lasting positive impression.
Overall, while the restaurant has its strengths, particularly in terms of service and location, there is room for improvement in the culinary offerings. With a bit more attention to the dining atmosphere and a slight elevation in the culinary creativity, this restaurant could easily become a standout choice...
Read moreHad a dinner for 5 Pax last night.
We had ordered 3 appetizers, 5 main courses and 2 desserts for sharing.
Initially we tried to get 4 main courses for sharing but the service staff “kindly” reminded that the serving portion was small thus recommended for one each. However the actual served portion was good enough for 5 actually.
Thereafter our service experience was not warmth actually…
The service staff was kind of pushy on drinks and food ( even after we had 5 main course, they were asking if we wanted to order more food). Was feeling quite intrusive on these queries as we were chatting and were not left alone for our dinner.
We were not allowed enough time to enjoy our food ; it was a raining evening and there was not much crowd. But the service staff was “too eager” to clear our plates.
Final killer was when we had desserts served and asked for plates but the service staff brought us the bill instead. Benefit of doubt, the live band music was too loud.
Overal dinner : we felt too rushed and pushy on food and drinks.
Food quality was alright ; abit pricey ; wine list was quite...
Read moreGreat vibes, awesome service, and delicious food. The reason I give it 3 stars is the food quality.
My boyfriend and I went to the restaurant and shared the food. The only thing he had and I didn’t was the raw oysters. My boyfriend had food poisoning the day after.
I called and talked with the restaurant manager. Manager refused it’s their fault and tried to blame on something else we ate. Did not try to complain or claim for anything, just wanted to let them know about what happened and had them re-check on the food sanitation (and I definitely spoke with manners). “If the oysters were spoiled, your boyfriend would know and wouldn’t eat it”, said manager.
When it comes to raw food to be served, it’s more than the appearance and smell to cause stomached and food poisoning. It’s the viruses or bacteria that may be in the oyster can cause illness.
I thought we found our favorite restaurant, but this is not what we expected to be treated. No responsibility or whatsoever.
You can come here for good food and wine. But if you want something raw or uncooked, this...
