TT BISTRO Tan Son Nhat — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

The location is good and the beef special pho tastes great, but the basic professionalism of this restaurant is unacceptable.

First, the waiter claimed they had enough change in USD, but in reality, they didn’t. Instead of explaining this in advance, they gave me part of the change in VND — and even then, the amount was short.

Second, when I pointed out the missing amount, the staff tried to brush it off as if nothing was wrong, saying “It’s okay.” This is not okay, keeping a customer’s money without explanation is unacceptable. If they had explained it in advance, I would have considered it a tip and enjoyed my meal happily.

Third, when I was leaving, the staff were standing at the entrance joking around, which left an unprofessional final impression.

A restaurant where money issues are handled in such a dirty way is one I will never recommend to anyone, no matter how good...

“Man, the food was weak, nothin special at all. They told me just a few minutes, but I waited forever. Straight up lied to me. I asked for beef pho, aint even know there’s two kinds, and they hit me with the one loaded with meat, then charged me $15.5. Crazy they runnin scams like that in the airport. I was rollin with my crew, everybody said the food was trash. My friend ordered fried chicken and fries, they said it come with a Coke, but no Coke showed up till I asked and then they tried to charge extra for it. It ain’t about the money, it’s the shady way they move. Felt like a straight hustle. On top of that, I don’t even know who’s runnin this spot, but the management weak as hell. This a food place, staff supposed to keep it cool, not be loud and actin’ up. Some of em got straight bad attitudes too. Y’all need to check...

TT Bistro is a scam before you leave haha Ok airport food is never great and always at a premium price but $15 Pho is taking the proverbial. And you are made pay first before getting the food (never a good sign). Pho was not bad but you’ll have eaten better with a bigger portion on the street for $2. Mind you not many options at the airport. Wait for the food on the aeroplane, at least your last memory of Vietnam might not be one of...
