Backpacker Bar And Restaurant — Restaurant in Hue City

Don’t book a tour here. Poor food also. We booked a tour here (before reading these reviews); a car and an english speaking tour guide for the whole day (we specifically paid for this one 25$) 55$ total. After waiting 20min at the hotel, we called the number on the voucher and I think they didn’t even knew we were there. 10min later a non speaking driver picked us up (no guide). We arrived to the citadel and the driver arranged a guide for us. After that we visited two tombs; we had to ask to the driver for a guide in one of them and after making some calls, he paid for one. In the other tomb we didn’t have a guide. After this, he drove us to the hotel. We asked (with a translator) for the pagoda we were promised to visit. And he said that we had to pay extra money for that. When we went back to the agency looking for at least an apology, another girl (who did speak english) was there. She started to say that her boss was not there and started to fake language misunderstanding to make us...

RAT meat food. Avoid at all costs! We were so hungry we had to eat and this was the first place we came across. Server had terrible English and promised everything we asked for. Food took forever and the music was unbelievably loud. I guess to drown out the traffic noise. We ordered duck and looked great in the photos but when we received our food after 45 minutes it was nothing like the menu photo. A tiny portion of some sort of meat, small heart shaped rice blob and some French fries! See attached image. Didn’t even look like duck! Looked like small slivers of a small red blooded animal covered in chilli to disguise the flavour. Upon paying I noticed 2 fat rats run across the floor and into the kitchen. I can only imagine they are feeding them up to use for dinner. Within 12 hours I was sick as a dog. I would give this place zero stars if I could! Avoid...

Don't book a tour with them! Wasted over an hour waiting for our drivers to come start the tour. When asked when we are starting, they kept saying another 5 mins. 5 mins turned to be an hour. We asked for our money back at the hour. The lady kept saying that this will bring her bad luck to loose customers and didn't want to give our money back. Add on another 20 mins of arguing with her and she walked away from us saying that we are bad customers. What a waste of time and money. Please don't even bother going here. Plenty of other places to rent...
