NGON' PIZZA-STEAK-RIBS HUE — Restaurant in Hue City

We ordered the following beefsteaks: a rare steak with green pepper sauce, a medium rare steak with green pepper sauce, a medium rare steak with mushroom sauce, and grilled ribs.

My rare steak was perfect. Although it was served on a cast iron pan to retain heat, it didn’t stay hot for too long, keeping the steak at the perfect rare doneness. 5 stars.

My friend’s medium rare steak, however, was placed on a very hot cast iron pan, causing the steak to continue cooking and lose its medium rare doneness, making it drier. 4 stars.

Another friend also had a medium rare steak with mushroom sauce, but the mushroom sauce was a weak point and needed improvement. They rated it 3.5 stars.

The ribs received mixed reviews since it was a shared dish: my French friend gave it 3 stars, saying it was dry, while my American friend gave it 4 stars.

The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, but for steak, they offer only one cut: tenderloin, which is completely lean with all connective tissue and fat removed. The beef was perfectly tender and juicy, and the price was reasonable for such high-quality meat.

If you choose this dish, go for the green pepper sauce and make sure to tell the restaurant how you want to maintain the steak’s rare doneness.

Service was good. This is a family-run business, so on weekends, the owners’ children help out, while on weekdays, they have dedicated staff.

The restaurant is located in the Western quarter, making it convenient for strolling and exploring the area.

I went for a late lunch, only one table was take so I could sit whenever. Vents are inside so you are gonna be fine. Inside they play music (the calm and more quiet one for atmosphere) so you can talk normally, it’s not distracting. They offer sendviches, pizza, more Europe style food, not local. I had pizza and it was delicious, fungi to be more specific. Shrooms were without the taste but rest was really good. 27cm pizza, could be for two people if not really hungry. I ate it alone and boy, I can’t move now. They have also local draft beer which is really nice THE BIG ONE, around 700ml glass, was really good too. Would recommend, prices are also very nice...

Choose this place just if you are really starving. The quality of the food is poor and the service has definitely to improve. I was waiting for them to prepare my table but they were playing with the phone instead. The waiter took my glass while I was pouring the Coke into it, hilarious 🤣

You offer frozen pizza (fair enough if you would have told us) and the opening hours were not clear.
