2025 update. Second time here and it is still the best place I stayed in all a Vietnam. This hotel is absolutely value for money. I feel like they offer 5star services. Super clean, very comfortable beds, the staff is above and beyond, in the center. I cannot go to all Hotels but they give so much value on my visit here so I don’t need too.

Breakfast at Hotel La Perle was a delightful culinary experience. The variety of options, coupled with the freshness and deliciousness of each dish, made it a perfect start to my mornings. The attention to quality in the dining experience was commendable.
What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service from the entire personnel, with special mention to Hanna and Ruby. Their dedication and warmth created an environment where I felt like royalty. They went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met promptly and with a genuine smile.

Read moreI booked a one night stay at Hotel La Perle while in Hue for late arrival as we were taking a sleeper bus from Hoi An. Upon arrival we were soaking wet from the rain as we were dropped off about 100 meters away from the hotel by our grab because cars cannot enter the alley in which this hotel is located.
We were asked for our passports immediately without any introduction or explanation and given a room key and then taken to our room with our luggage. The receptionist told us to come back downstairs after we dried up. The first thing I wanted to do was take a hot shower and when I took the towel that was on our bed, it was stained. I called the reception about 5 x before someone answered, before I could even say anything I was told, “I know, I know”...and when I said the towels were dirty the person at the front said gasped omg and said ok and hung up. I waited a few minutes and there was a knock on my door from the receptionist (or manager) with a new towel. I showed her the stains and she replied that they were from the flowers on the bed. (They were set in stains in different areas of the towel).
Anyway, the new towel was dirty as well and so were the robes in the closet along with the sheets. There was a pink lipstick stain on the comforter. It was not worth the call so we just used our own. Breakfast was ok and made to order, waitress forgot about my coffee and after waiting 15 minutes...I just gave up. Also tried to charge us 372K (2) for a bus to Phong Nha, when a tour company down the street offered it to us for 220K.
Positive: they let us borrow an umbrella and leave our luggage at the front desk after we...
Read moreLocated in a quieter area. Ideal location for me with many eateries, drinking spots & cafes nearby, within short walking distance. Easy to get e-hailing rides like Xanh SM or Grab. Room is tidy & neat, with window having view of surroundings. Very importantly, no cigarette smoke & sewage smell. Good soundproofing as room is quiet. TV, wifi signal & aircon work well in the room. Bathroom has partitioned shower, with good water pressure. Well-equipped with toiletries, hairdryer, mini fridge, safety box & mini wardrobe. Bed is comfy for me. Warm gesture by hotel to provide free coffee & bananas. There is also water dispenser at dining area. Another bonus for me is that the lobby is brightly lit. It has elevator. Check-in/out was fuss-free & fast. Only got to know the names of Sarah, Tho, Hanna & Ruby but rest assured all staff from front-desk to night duty are friendly, warm, helpful & smiley. All of them speak English & communicate well. They helped to arrange for minivan to Da Nang. Kudos to housekeeping staff too. Cleanliness in the room & common area is good. I had good rest & fully enjoyed my stay here. La Perle is one of those hotels that I would go back again.
NOTE: The heavy furniture like the chair, stool & table makes dragging noises when moved around causing disturbance to guests staying one floor below. It would be good to have dampeners or cushions at the legs of the furniture to minimize/mute any...
