We stayed in Hue for two nights and ended up coming to this restaurant twice—and for good reason! The place was cheap/well priced. A couple would expect to spend £15/20 total. In a busy area full of places competing for your attention, this spot was a hidden gem. Tucked away on the second floor, it’s centrally located yet peaceful and welcoming.
The restaurant is beautifully presented and well-staffed. One moment that really stood out was seeing a staff member kindly helping a customer with their baby, even showing them around the space. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that really reflected the team’s care and hospitality.
As for the food: on our first visit, we tried the bolognese and carbonara—both were tasty and satisfying. On our second visit, we had the oven-baked pizzas, which had a great thin crust. Each time, we also enjoyed the ricotta and tomato salad with a touch of paprika, which was fresh and flavorful.
If we could offer a couple of suggestions for the future: the steak and potatoes looked appealing, but the portion in the menu photo seemed a bit small, so I opted for something else. Adding balsamic vinegar to the burrata with cherry tomatoes would also be a great touch. Lastly, a few more dessert options would round out the menu nicely.
Overall, a lovely experience with kind service, delicious food, and a calm atmosphere. Thank you—we’d...
Read moreAfter 6 months of eating our way through Asia we finally found the pizza to satisfy my pizza cravings. On our last night. Cue the tiny violins.
This place served up what might just be the best pizza we’ve had on the entire trip. I went for their new chorizo number and honestly? It was so good. Properly wood-fired, perfectly crispy base, generous cheese, and amazing chorizo. It was the kind of pizza that makes you want to write poetry… or at least this review.
And wait, there’s a plot twist… I also ordered the fish and chips. The fish? Flaky and fresh. The batter? Extra crispy!
The only regret? I found it on our final evening in Hue. Tragic. If I could turn back time, I’d eat here twice. Maybe three times. Or maybe...
Read moreI discovered this place because it’s right above one of my favorite cafés. I’ve been thinking of trying the food for a while, so today I decided to go with my sister.
We ordered the fish and chips, 4 mushroom pizza, and carbonara. The sauce that came with the fish and chips was a nice welcome to the rest of our meal. I enjoyed the carbonara because it was cheesy and the creamy taste complimented the texture of the pasta.
The highlight of our meal is the 4 mushroom pizza — it exceeded our expectations in the best way and it’s definitely something to come back for.
My sister and I agreed that we’ll take our family here when they go to Hue. It’s an experience they...
