We did not expected much but getting pasta and eat. As soon as we entered, the waitress came to us and gave us the menu. First she talked Russian, which we didn’t expect because it is Vietnam but still alright. We said we speak English, instead to change language or say she couldn’t speak it (she actually can) . The waitress sighed and gave a really bad attitude. We didn’t feel welcomed at all. Also, while cleaning table next to us she was being agressive with the napkins on the table it felt like she wanted to slap us. We don’t know if she wanted but the whole atmosphere made us really uncomfortable. It doesn’t feel nice to be sighed at, to get bad looks and also the napkin incident. More to that, she was more welcoming to Russian people than to us. Detail, she is Russian so maybe that’s why. Moreover we’ve been waiting for the food for more than 30 mins and right now we still didn’t get it. This doesn’t make the place better. Maybe the food will be good but for now the service is really bad. Everyone should be treated the same way even if they don’t speak Russian. Thank you for making our night bad. I am not trying to throw shades on the restaurant, this comment is only for self reflection. We did not feel welcomed. We hope no customers will have to feel the way...
Read moreFor the food alone, definitely worth 5*. The pasta was cooked to perfection, sauces full of flavour. The novelty cheese wheel is a nice touch.
Sadly, the service was a bit too much. We were given a menu and then asked what we wanted almost immediately, we asked for a few more minutes, but she came over again after about 30 seconds. We had only just finished eating when she just came over and said "cheque". Before we knew it, we had the bill in front of us. I had only just finished the final mouthful and I had almost all my beer left. Way way way too rushed.
Secondly, the pasta is served in paper bowls with wooden forks. For the prices charged, if you're eating in, they should be serving the pasta in a ceramic bowl with a proper knife and spoon made of metal.
The atmosphere was a bit lacking when we visited. They need to play some music to create a bit of ambience.
Lastly, the menu on the pictures on here is way out of date. Prices are...
Read moreThe restaurant is located on a crowded street in the center, so it's not so hard to find it. The atmosphere here is actually pretty nice and cozy. It has enough space for friends or family gatherings. The staff is quite friendly; she explained everything carefully with a great attitude. Everything seems so clean. It takes 5-7 minutes for food to be served. For me, this is quite fast.
The price is insanely high compared to local food/restaurants in general (I'm not talking about the quality, raw material prices, or something related to those things, just the final price). If you're Vietnamese and not familiar with European seasoning, then you'll probably be stunned by the flavoring as well as the price. I wasn't able to finish my meal since it's the S size, which is a lot more than I expected, and the flavor didn't please me.
Still give this restaurant 5 stars since they deliver great...
