Erica Nha Trang Hotel — Hotel in Nha Trang City

The room are pretty nice, there is a lot of thing there is broken, so we had to take picthures, for safety reason. But the rooms are very nice, nothing to complain about there. The breakfast, is not very good, as a westernern it's pretty hard to navigate through the food, as only 3-5 things had an English name on it, the rest in vietnamese. The food is not the best I rather go out to eat next time. But the service is so so bad, I called from my room because they forgot to fill up our coffee after cleaning the rooms. I called the reception and talked to a Ms. Ngân. Very rude, didn't speak very well English, but that's okay. So I tried to tell her that the housekeeper forgot to refill the coffee. She told me to go to the bar to order coffee, were I told her no I don't need to order it's the small bags of coffee there needs to be refilled, after that she just hangup the phone I tried to call again but she just keept hanging up the phone. I have never ever, been in a 4 star hotel with that bad service, you can not work in a service industry and treat guest so bad, I was so shocked, I know you can't expect the same service as back in Europe. But that was a first, for that reason I'm gonna be sure never to go back there or recommend that place to anyone. You need to treat you guest well otherwise they won't come back, if you don't speak vietnamese, it's also a very hard hotel to live in. It’s a typical average 3 star hotel showing its age but value for money. Breakfast is ok, very little choice. But there is one warning to bear in mind. A few days/weeks before my arrival, I got an alarming email stating that my booking was about to be cancelled unless I reconfirm by clicking on a link provided within the email. I didn’t click on the link but contacted the hotel through the Agoda website, the hotel confirmed that my booking is confirmed. The email reappeared every three days or so. I contacted Agoda CS which gave me the canned “your data security is of the utmost importance dadidadida, please do not click on any link outside dadidadida, but no further action is taken. The message kept coming and I went back to Agoda the second time, again dadidadida but still no action. On my arrival, I checked in ok and the message stopped. I suspected that the hotel server was hacked or it was an inside job. I was most disappointed that Agoda took no serious action with the hotel. Great value for money. Will return. Recommended. Room is clean and tidy, quite small but equipped with all basic necessity: tivi, air-conditioning, small fridge, bathroom stuff. My room has view towards the city and small balcony. Staff are friendly and helpful, the waiter is so kind and professional, only see these great manners from high class hotel, every time I walk to my car under sunlight, he picks an umbrella and walks me to my car. He is also nice to the kids Breakfast is ok, not special but sufficient enough and also value for money. The restaurant is nice decorated, clean and bright, I like the atmosphere in the balcony, having some tea time there. Location is ok, in a one way street, calm and quiet, with lots of tree. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Also surrounded by food and drink services.
