Used to really like the place. Took a good long break from eating out and went back recently. Burger was same, did its job, the family was happy with their inferior choices also, but then was slapped with tax and…AND service fee.

Nowhere else does that. In 11 years this might be the 3rd time I’ve come across it. A bit lame, especially as we had checked the menu beforehand and all sat around and planned the meal with intense excitement (okay I was excited, the family was neutrally enthusiastic) we rocked up with cash in hand ready to go, ate, genuinely enjoyed, but then had to use card due to the unforeseen increase in price.

Oh, and there was a surcharge on using the card to.

Seriously such a shame I genuinely used to love the place and was super excited to have at it again after over a year, driving past everyday whispering “wait for me, baby!” under my breath, but this really kinda soured the experience.

If it’s specifically burgers you’re after maybe try *burgers and beer if you want ‘alright’ considering price (owners cool too), *Winston’s if you like the extras with a your meat (cheeseburger spring rolls are awesome), *or Saigonese Eatery if you want real good beef and are alright with a pricier burger.

Cmon Dr do better. If it’s really necessary, just up your prices a bit and include the tax and service in what’s displayed on the menu.

Or dance. Would consider paying extra service...

went here on the 2nd of January. My girlfriend and i ordered two burgers. one chicken and one double cheese hobo. one of the worst burgers I have ever had. the burger was one solid brown colour the whole way through. like it had been precooked and then reheated. the texture was that of cardboard and not a drop of juice in the burger. I was so hungry after having partied the night before that I ate it anyway. I was starving. I wasn't going to complain because I was just tired.

my girlfriends chicken burger was wet. the bread was wet. the onions were wet. she had one bite and then decided not to eat it.

half way through eating one of the staff asked if everything was okay. I said no and explained. they went and got the chef. I spoke to the chef and showed her the meat she had somehow turned into cardboard and asked if it was fresh and she insisted it was fresh. There is no way it was fresh. I've cooked hundreds of burger and they do not go one solid brown colour all the way through unless they have been precooked and then reheated to serve. we paid and left.

the French fries were OK. and the orange juice I order was good too.

we will never be returning to this restaurant. we've been to phu quoc many times before, and to this particular restaurant before, and had always had such a good...

This is the owner of this place. I waited 45 minutes for my order, and everytime I asked for it he would say it was coming. When it finally came to the table and still missing a juice, there weren’t even napkins or cutlery ready for us. All the other tables next to us were getting their orders, even the ones that came after us.

When I was leaving I told him I would’ve really appreciated if he were to say sorry cause he still hadn’t. And he started excusing himself for how much he’s been working the night before, and said I was talking bad to him and wasn’t respecting him and the place he lives in (which has literally nothing to do with anything, and then started telling me to leave the place and that I was pushing my luck with him.
