Very awkward restaurant. We got out of our taxi and approached by three servers even before we could step foot into the restaurant. They were insisting that we go pick out our live seafood right away. We told them we wanted to see the menu first but they were really pushy. We finally sat down and there were three servers pushing for us to use the wet napkins and enjoy the peanuts they left to the table. After a few minutes I asked if they charge for the wet napkins and the nuts that they made seem like it’s complimentary and they said yes. I think it’s very dishonest of them and I’m glad we didn’t fall for it.

We tried to look through the menu but they kept trying to get us to go pick out live seafood. Obviously it’s more expensive. The waitress was within a foot of me while I looked through the menu. I asked for some time and she said not to worry, she will just stand there. It was very uncomfortable. My husband got upset with them hovering over us and asked to be left alone so we can look at the menu in peace without them looking over our shoulders with suggestions. We were really looking forward to eating here after reading some reviews. The place is nice, clean and the staff very kind and attentive. Service was quick. The food however was very disappointing. We ordered shrimp spring rolls, mixed veg stir fry, chicken breast in passion fruit sauce and grilled mackerel in passion fruit sauce. The spring rolls were supposedly shrimp but we didn't taste any shrimp, plus they were very small. The vegetables were very good and a good size portion. The chicken was nothing like the picture in the menu and very dry and tasteless. The mackerel was very dry, hard and chewy. Not pleasant at all. Large, clean restaurant with pleasant ambiance and attentive staff. Nice to sit at a large table with comfy big wooden chairs instead of the little plastic stools that many of the other neighborhood seafood restaurants have. All the dishes arrived quickly and everything was very fresh and tasty. Portions are a little smaller than some other places we visited before, but wasn’t an issue as we all left full and satisfied.
