So there I was, at the Cheeky Traveller Bar in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. Let me tell you, this place is like a slice of paradise mixed with a shot of tequila and a sprinkle of Kevin Hart's charisma.

First off, Kev the owner—my man Kev—he's friendlier than a Golden Retriever at a dog park. Dude greets you like you're the long-lost family he never knew he had. Walk in and you feel like you just stepped into an episode of Cheers, but with way more palm trees and fewer Boston accents.

And the staff? Oh, these folks are so friendly they make your grandma look like a grumpy cat. They're serving up drinks and good vibes like it's an Olympic sport. You ask for a recommendation, and they hit you with such enthusiasm you'd think they're getting commission on smiles.

The Cheeky Traveller is the best entertainment venue in Phu Quoc, hands down. Exactly as it says on the tin, it’s the English pub you’ve all missed in the uk since the smoking ban. With awesome bands and entertainment every night and such impeccable service that you’ll never even need to que or visit the bar until it’s to pay and go home. The staff at the cheeky are so friendly you’ll all feel like family, even on your first visit. The musicians in all the bands are so passionate you’ll feel like you’re at an event or gig featuring real stars. That aside, the team behind the bar, Ken, Kim, Bo, Dia and Khanh are the real stars of the show and do their upmost to accommodate everyone’s needs and even make introductions between you and people they know you’ll click with. This review is based on my first visit to Phu Quoc and after spending time there, I never wanted to leave and I guarantee you won’t either.
