Phu Quoc Kim - Bungalow On The Beach — Hotel in Phú Quốc

The bungalows are close to the beach, very simple. We were missing a hair dryer, which they found for us later on. Overall the rooms were not worth the money, but at least the location was ok. What was really troublesome was their approch to scooter rent - we rented at 11, and came back from a trip around 16. We just went for a shower and in the meantime they took our scooters away. We reached out that we still need them and they were rented for a day (24hours). When they brought the scooters back, they were missing fuel we paid for - they collected it :D and one scooter had to be totally replaced because somebody else was already using it. The morning next day we wanted to go for a quick breakfast before leaving - and scooters were gone again. We reached out again and the owner told us, that scooter are only until midnight :D all of this doesn’t add up. So I recommend against renting scooters and only go...

We stayed here over New Year and, although Phu Quoc was busy, we had a beautiful relaxing stay. Kim's Bungalows are squeezed between bigger and more upmarket resorts but have a lovely peaceful feel and a great strech of beach with plenty of loungers. Breakfast is served in a beach front cafe, menu could be a bit more expansive but what they do offer if very good, loved the fruit plate and the mango pancake. Whole vibe is very laid back but service was good. Rooms were cleaned daily and although facilities were basic look at the price you are paying. The Bungalows are at the end of a street full of bars and restaurants and we had some superb fresh barbecued fish in several of these at...
