Luckydaisy's Bamboo Bar — Restaurant in Ta Van Commune

You dont want to miss Bamboo Bar! I have come here for breakfast twice, lunch twice, coffee twice and dinner twice. They never disappoint. I especially love their Buncha, coconut coffee (not in the menu), pancake for breakfast, banana flower salad (secret sauce is to die for) and yummy apply pie!

They also make extensive choices of cocktail, with unique twist. Love their outdoor seatings but inside is also cozy with jazz music playing. The managers and cooks are the sweetest! I love spending time there, they made it feel like home. They are also very knowledgeable of the area so they help us on our trip to make sure we dont miss on local great places.

They do have great dogs coming in and out and they are docile! nothing to worry about them. in fact they have been my therapy when I was there.

They also do welcome volunteer work so their staff changes from time to time, but great people attract great people ❤️

They have many accomodation. Amazing for single traveller, couple, family and travelling with parents!

First off, I was running low on cash and was wanting to conserve my cash flow out. Second, after many stops around restaurants near my Homestay none took credit card or debit cards. So a staff member at a restaurant shared I could pay credit and even withdrawal cash via credit purchase at Lucky Daisy’s Bamboo Bar just down the road. So i checked it out. I was able to use this restaurant as an ATM! Lovely, now I have more cash where no ATMs are around. The ATMs are only found 30 minutes drive into town after a hefty 240,000 ride each way taxi. So I avoided a 580,000 return trip to get to an ATM in the city. I avoided an hour of travel time. I had a delicious meal and 1 beer for 110,000 and I left with 1,000,000 cash (3% fee was added of course). The staff were so accommodating and helpful. So I would I highly recommend this place. I came here for lunch with my friend we ordered the pork pho and sizzling chicken plate. I had high hopes for this place as I have been in the area for about a week and have seen it relatively busy a few times. However once we received the food I was thoroughly disappointed. I have been eating pho pretty much everyday since being in Vietnam the last 3 weeks and have had pho in the states plenty of times. This was by far the worst bowl of pho I have eaten, it was so bland and flavorless. On top of that it was more expensive than most other places in Vietnam.
