Once inside PAROS Dining & Patisserie Vung Tau, we were received by the staff and shown to our seats after indicating that we’d like to be seated indoors. There’s actually an air-conditioned area indoors but it was full this morning. This is also the same area where the toilets are located. So if you’re in non-AC areas, you’d have to come into this area to use the washroom.
The menu of PAROS Dining and Patisserie is beautifully curated, with profile photos of its offerings such as the brunch dishes, toasts, skillets and coffee. While the offerings were not extensive, the items seemed of rather good quality and of course, more affordable when compared to cafes in Singapore. There’s also a separate bakery menu on the table that allows you to order pastries of the day including croissants, chocolate au pain and more!

Read moreVery disappointing experience overall. The food was the only saving grace, every dish was incredibly well-seasoned, might be the best tasting food I’ve had at any fine dining restaurants in Vietnam, although the portions are a bit underwhelming.
We booked our table for Valentine’s day, the set-up was poorly executed, there was only a rose and the candle wasn’t even lit when we got there.
The service was abysmal. They brought out the first main course before the appetizers, and they would have forgotten about that if we hadn’t reminded them. We waited for roughly 20 minutes between each dish, cutleries were always missing and we needed to ask them to bring those out every single time, and napkins were only provided by the fourth dish. They mixed up our desserts with the table next to us to add the cherry on top.
Overall the price was so not worth the hassle we went through, will not...
Read moreTop restaurant in Vung Tau, also for all of Vietnam (and I have been all over, from Dien Bien / Lai Chao to Cao Bang / Ha Long, from Ca Mau / Vung Tau / Saigon to Da Nang / Hue / Phong Nha). Excellent quality. Five (5) stars. I am only afraid that this is much too high a standard for Vietnamese, and many foreigners who live here, to dine here frequently enough for Paros to survive ..., I have seen high-quality places go bust often enough here ... I wish them all the best and will come back...
