This is a decent place but they lack a few minor items which make the price higher than it should be as they don't deliver some basics. ||The rooms are apartments with separate bedrooms, and kitchen, dining, lounge combos. A consideration for longer term stays if you get a decent rate.||They're fitted out with most item including ironing boards, TV in the bedroom and lounges. ||Bathrooms are modern though some are poorly designed and water flows back into area where you dont want it including the bedroom. Owners were made aware over a year ago but the smug young child of the owner who manages it knows everything. ||The dining furniture is that super heavy type that screeches when you pull a chair out. Lighter is better. ||I find it mind boggling that they have bedside tables or built-in benches but NO BEDSIDE LIGHTS OR SWITCHES. ||While a first world problem, it gives one an indication of the owners attitude. ||The reception staff were impeccable. The garage attendant also very nice and helpful. ||The location is good a walk to most areas for bars and restaurants. ||The pool has no shallow end and not an easy pool to get out if so not one for small kids. The pool area was a mess and not a great not of any decent landscaping, decor or other enhancement of what could be a very nice pool area. Ditto reasons as above. ||It's s good location, but there are similar...

Try really hard and do so well. ||First things first...If you are permanently in a wheelchair or unable to walk up stairs at all, I strongly recommend you stay else where as the lift STARTS at floor TWO. The staff are very accommodating and do offer to carry your bags to the 2nd floor. ||Even though we had our sign out for house keeping not once was our room done. Every day I had to call for towels. The rooms are very spacious. The beds are hard as and the bare basics are provided as in a bottom sheet and a thin like blanket thing so you can't even fold the blanket up to try and soften the bed. Ended up sleeping on the couch. They were hard but softer than the bed. The bathroom was poorly designed. Didn't matter what we did we had water EVERYWHERE. We told them about it and nodded their heads and that was that. ||The pool is nice however not practical for kids or elderly or people with disabilities. Hard to get into and no shallow end. Towels are not stored up there but if you call the front desk they will get some to you. ||Only a 5min walk to the good street for shopping which is Bacu st and the beach is only a 2 min walk.||Unfortunately when we return to Vung Tau, we will stay else where. What we paid and what we got were worlds apart...
Read moreIt is a very good apart-hotel with a lovely big and deep (20m x 8m x 1.60m ) swimming pool on the rooftop. Apartments are well appointed, with kitchen, separate bedrooms, terraces. Appliances are available but for just 2 guests and normal flat plates are missing as Vietnamese simply do not use them. The same applies for the oven - no oven, they do not use ovens for cooking! Hotel is clean, air-conditioning is OK, the marble floors and bathrooms are just fantastic. Staff is helpful but some more English lessons could be handy.||Some good restaurants within walking distance, convenience stores as well.||The big drawback - the catholic Church across the road - it is beautiful BUT the bell rings every morning at 5:00am. Yes, it is AM, no mistake!! Every day!! A mass is held and people are coming by tens and hundreds. And when there is a funeral the bells ring at 4:30 am!! Busloads of mourners are coming to the church then. You must be an early riser staying here. But do not worry - after a week one gets used...
