I visited Trình Cà Phê while I was in the area for an appointment, hoping to find a comfortable spot to work for a couple of hours. The cafe had good reviews, so I decided to stop by and check whether it offered suitable seating with AC as I couldn't really tell from the photos.
Upon entering, I was asked to place an order at the casher, to which I politely explained that I’d like to take a quick look at the seating area before deciding to stay. As I walked further in, the staff from the casher began to follow me closely. I first checked the ground floor, which didn't appear to have a setup conducive to work on PC, so I headed upstairs. She continued to follow me without saying a word. I asked if she needed anything, but received no response—she just continued to stare at me in silence.
Whilst briefly checking the upstairs room, she continued to stand nearby and stare which made me feel quite uncomfortable. At that point, I decided to leave and go to my regular cafe across the river instead. I turned to go back down. She again followed me the entire way, maintaining the silence and stare.
In most cafes I’ve visited, it’s generally understood that customers may want to check for available seating or check the environment before placing an order. This has typically never been an issue elsewhere. I’m still unsure what her intention was but it left me feeling unwelcome and...
Read moreOne of the nicest (my personal favourite) places to get Coffee in DaNang.
Location wise it might feel a bit hidden but it's worth seeking out.
It has a unique look and feel.
I luckily found it the first week I arrived in DaNang and now at least come here 3-4 times a week.
I recommend their Avocado Coffee (Special or Normal are both great). But they'll also happily adjust or customise your drink based on your preference. (Note - they don't do nut milk, but will make a handful of drinks without milk if that's not your thing — it's not mine).
The staff her are pleasant. Always smiling. Always friendly.
And most importantly they care about the drinks they serve.
Because I'm a regular I get to observe them trialing drinks, experimenting and roasting their own coffee at the back.
There is a beautiful courtyard area with sun shades. And two indoor areas with air conditioning.
The place is always clean (including toilets).
A hidden gem which everyone...
Read moreI saw that this coffee shop had high reviews on Google and I can see way. It has just about everything great going for it. The staff is pleasant, the place is eclectic and the coffee is delicious, not to mention great prices! I had a coconut coffee, which I would have liked a little stronger on the coffee side, but the crispy coconut on top helped keep the marks high. My wife had an orange peach tea which was also fantastic, not too sweet and had a bonus piece of each fruit. The chocolate brownie cake was light on flavor but it was fresh. Not sure if it was from a local bakery or a factory. The croissant was quite crispy with…surprise a sweet, cheese? center. Not quite sure what the stuffing was inside, it might have been custard, it was a nice addition, but my wife didn’t care for it. The seating was definitely designed for Vietnamese as all the tables and chairs were low. It must be funny to see a big white dude sit in the...
