Nando's Pomona — Restaurant in Harare

Given that Nando's has been in Zimbabwe for several years now, one would expect them to find solutions to make the ordering process more streamlined. Unfortunately, like most fast food outlets under the Simbisa brand, this is not the case. Most popular menu items come with an unexplained 50 cents. This usually always causes change challenges at the tills. Pamona branch usually only has one cashier and regardless of if you are paying with cash or wanting to swipe, you have to wait for the one cashier. Dial a delivery orders also compound the waiting time, as their orders are given priority. On a good day, your meal will arrive within 10 to 15 minutes and usually as per order. However, when they are busy, especially over weekends, you can expect to wait for close to 30 minutes or longer and may be unfortunate to still receive the wrong order. All in all, the food is really good, except for their "chips", which used to only be second to Steers once upon a time. Basically, the overall experience is being spoilt by the inefficiency at the till point(s), with issues of thir own making.
