It was a really great event with lots of hands on activities although having a child with sensory processing disorder he became overwhelmed with the crowds of people as its obviously a very popular event. Not visited Action Stations for a while and was quite disappointed visiting again. Everything the kids loved previously had gone (Bridge on an RN Warship, Helicopter simulation). What's left didn't seem very 'Action Stations' as we knew it. It's basically a laser tag which you have to pay more for (understandable but not well advertised) and a climbing wall. I have just taken my 2 grandchildren to Action Stations today, having called them with no answer on their phone number! So called the main dockyard. The website says it’s Closed today ! It may say opens on Hampshire school holidays but having seen “Closed” I suspect you may have lost a few visitors. Inside it was very disappointing. Signage poor. Very dark. Grubby. Staff that we did see just stood there no interaction or suggested thoughts of the various items available to the children....
