Came to have lunch and left hungry. Staff completely unaware of their surroundings. Arrived today just before midday, ordered drinks at the bar after being sat at a table and no staff acknowledging us and continuously walking around talking amongst themselves. After waiting 20mins we decided to order food at the bar, to then be told its table service, the barmaid said they would send someone to take our order. Waited a further 15mins to see staff take food orders on tables who had sat after us, now frustrated to have been clearly ignored as table is in full view of the bar we decided to leave. I did request to speak with the manager who unfortunately was not interested in speaking with me so I complained to the bar team, who could only appologise, the place wasn't even busy and there was atleast 6 different members of floor staff working, disgraceful service. We went onto to cozy club which had friendly and attentive staff, food was good with a much better menu! Top tip for anyone, avoid the slug at all costs as there are plenty of better establishments providing a much better service! The staff at the slug are useless.
