Retiro-Mitre — Attraction in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

The station is large enough that it never seems overwhelmingly busy. There are screens that clearly show when trains are leaving. The station is very easy to navigate. We found ourselves passing through here many times throughout our trip to BA. If you are the last to board a train, expect to stand. If you are the first, expect to wait about 20 minutes before the train leaves. One important thing to note is that the entrance is on the southeast side of the building (we didn’t know this when we plugged it into google maps and ended up walking a lot more than we were...

The beautest train station in Buenos Aires. A lot of services depart from here, not only suburban trains but regular trains that can take you to Córdoba, Tucumán and Rosario! Also it's really easy to get here as it's connected with the other two Retiro train terminals (San Martín line and Belgrano Norte line) and the Line C Buenos Aires Subte (metro) terminal. Also a lot of buses connect the station and many go via BRTs (9 de Julio or Del Bajo).

Pongo 1 estrella porque no hay -10! Tren super ruidoso, las puertas se abren hacia adentro y la gente se atasca en las puertas para poder respirar mejor, el tren es de metal y con el sol se convierte en un sauna, las ventanas abren hasta la mitad, si milagrosamente vas sentado el aire no te da. Si no moriste en el intento de llegar a la mitad del vagón te espera otro desafío, de dónde (o de quién 🙃) me agarro para no caerme o golpear a alguien??? Solo están las esquinas de los asientos con 20 pares de manos encima! Es maravilloso ver el ingenio de los 20 vendedores para pasar en un vagón atestado! En invierno es una heladera con aire viciado, si hay suerte y la puerta no cierra tenés aire!! Y una gripe en puerta! Como están reformando las estaciones avisan que habrá demoras y cancelaciones de servicios, para que??? Si siempre pasó y solo dan explicación a veces en Retiro, las demás estaciones cero! Los accidentes de persona ocurren casi semanalmente, jamás dieron datos de cuántos mueren por mes o en el año. La gente sigue viajando colgada, hasta el guarda lo hace, porque las puertas no sirven y se resbalan desde "el gran invento de la prolongación de metal para llegar al nivel del andén" y a no olvidar las lluvias!! la mitad de los asientos están mojados porque fallan las ventanas, es lo mismo estar afuera que adentro. Lo positivo: si sobrevivis a un viaje en el Belgrano Norte, no hay...
