Have been a little generous with the 2 star overall review. Booked in advance online. Only reason to go anywhere in this vicinity was due to the cinema having a suitable time slot for us to later attend a movie screening.
Were told immediately that we had 1.5 hours to vacate our table (don’t recall seeing this when making the booking). We were shown to our table straightaway though. Despite this, we had to wave someone over to get table water after several minutes of our timed booking. Menu is insane. 20 pages long. So be prepared to choose what you want to eat before you get there, as the timer is ticking on your vacate time. There is no way a restaurant can be preparing fresh food with a menu so big. Always a big turn off for me.
Ordered starters and mains. Three of us at table. Two starters arrived together, the third arrived after a further 10 minutes, after again waving someone over to find out where it was. This situation is always awkward and uncomfortable.
Same occurred with main course, but the wait on the third plate was more like 15 mins. Not wanting to start until we all had our meal in front of us meant the tepid temp food was cold when third plate arrived for both courses. This does not make for a pleasant dining experience.
One of our group ordered a dish with a serve of steamed rice and to my horror it arrived in its plastic pouch stuffed into a plastic faux steamer basket. Removing from the pouch a brick of overcooked rice that did not break apart and was not fluffy. It required slicing. The plastic rice pouch litter remained on the table. 2 generous stars for service, though the staff were friendly, diners use the QR code to self order. Tiny wording on the QR code table notice that diners could opt to order in person, though we were not asked for our preference. Large menus were left on the table throughout the meal. Plates removed at the end- mine looking barely touched, no one asking if there was something wrong as to why wasn’t eaten.
Two of us had the wagu beef, which was ok for a couple bites , but obviously frozen and heavy handed on the bicarb to soften it, tasting metallic and over salty with an altered texture- typical of an over zealous silkening process.
Photos of the place online look nice enough, but there are no photos of the masses of seats in less than atmospheric areas beyond the pretty aesthetic front aspect, which is where we were seated. I did struggle to hear my sons at our table as the place seats hundreds and is v noisy so not suitable for others who are hearing impaired.
Have seen varying review results, maybe the higher ranked reviews are from ppl who have limited experience outside of suburban eateries.
At best this place is a diner. Not...

Your crab in the curry was not cooked in the curry"", it was on top of a green curry even though your menu depicts a red curry. Your service and food does not match your prices! Your comments show your lack of intention to address your problems! Why would I move my comments to your private email when the public needs to be warned? Ken Bailey
Having been to bangkok boulevard a number of times, we decided to try their new venture Phuket Town, Big mistake, Prices are high, service is ordinary at best and the food is very poor For main course we ordered 2 dishes and 1 glass of wine, We received 1 dish and 2 glasses of wine. The crab curry was a bowl with some green curry sauce and pieces of very chewy crab and small bowls with noodles, 1 boiled egg, deep fried anchovy and bean sprouts. After finally getting a waiters attention, we explained we were missing the Pla Tod Kamin (Sand Whiting). When it came the fish was so overcooked that the knife supplied with it could not cut through the outside coating on the fish. The flesh was dry and tough, less than half the dish was eaten. We complained to a waiter who said they would advise the kitchen. When we paid the bill, we were charged full price plus a 1% fee for using a card. The experience was dreadful and we would never go back. Strongly suggest you...
Read moreI stopped going to Bangkok boulevard for a few reasons, but food wasn't one of them. When people dine out, they do it for the experience, not to just shove food in their mouth as quick as possible to turn the table over. Bangkok boulevard didnt have the concept of entree, they would bring out enteee, meals, rice all together and try and squeeze it all on one tiny table, one time i didnt even have room for my plate, i was holding it in the air and the server didnt care, just walked off... drinks ALWAYS come out when you've finished your food... Now phuket town is open, i thought, ok bigger restaurant, new place, lets see if things are better ... NOPE, entree, meals all brought same time, drinks arrived after we ate .. exactly the same.. its such a shame... when i go out, especially when it's pretty pricey, i want to enjoy my time out, its not just about food its the experience... One thing i did notice thats new, is you can order from your table, so i realised i can now control the speed, order drinks first, leave it 30 mins order entree, leave it 30mins then order dinner...which is great. Definitely do this. The new desserts are amazing. Menu is pretty much identical to Bangkok boulevard with added seafood dishes.. a much smaller menu which is...
