As a man of refined tastes and an uncompromising standard for excellence, I must declare, with the utmost enthusiasm, that Temptation Sailing’s whale-watching cruise was nothing short of an unparalleled maritime spectacle.
From the very inception of our voyage, the team members demonstrated an exceptional commitment to ensuring that each passenger, irrespective of their seafaring prowess derived maximum enjoyment from this excursion. Their affable demeanor and eagerness to engage in stimulating conversation added a delightful layer of human interaction to what was already a mesmerizing odyssey across the cerulean expanse.
For those who dared to embrace the aqueous unknown by swimming alongside these marine marvels, the crew displayed an exemplary level of vigilance, ensuring that each individual was not only safe but also adequately equipped to maximize their experience. The hallmark of true professionalism is the seamless blend of excitement and security, and Temptation Sailing executed this with the precision of a well-calibrated atomic clock.
The pièce de résistance of the expedition, however, was the breathtaking proximity to a pod of dolphins, a moment so profound that I momentarily questioned whether I had inadvertently stumbled into a BBC wildlife documentary narrated by Sir David Attenborough. It was an ethereal encounter, one that defied mere verbal articulation.
And, as if their excellence were not already self-evident, the team concluded the experience by ensuring that each of us left not only with a treasure trove of aquatic memories but also with valuable recommendations for other noteworthy destinations in Adelaide. A masterstroke of hospitality!
In summation, should you possess even a modicum of appreciation for marine wildlife, adventure, or simply an expertly orchestrated experience, I implore you, nay, insist that you embark upon this journey with Temptation Sailing. It is, to borrow the colloquial vernacular, a “must-do” of the...
Read moreYOU MUST BOOK THESE GUYS! My partner and I have been in Adelaide for our honeymoon the past week. We booked the twilight cruise with Temptation and sailed with them last Monday on the 7th of April with Will and Quinn on board. From start to finish, it was incredible. The boat is spacious and no matter where you sit, you have uninterrupted views of the ocean and surrounds. We also were given a drinks voucher and had a good selection of drinks to choose from. As the sun began to set, Will offered everyone blankets too which made it nice and cosy. There’s no better way to spend your evening. We had a wonderful time taking in the breathtaking views of the coast, the ocean and the last golden rays of the sun. When we returned to the marina, my husband and I decided to snap a quick selfie to commemorate the last evening of our honeymoon. When I put my phone back in my pocket, the unimaginable happened. My phone, holding all of our life’s milestones including our recent wedding and honeymoon, slipped out of my pocket and into the ocean. We couldn’t believe we just lost all of those memories in one second.. Will and Quinn quickly realising what was happening and asked what type of phone I had. I told them it was an iPhone 16. Cool as cucumbers, they assured me it would be fine and that Will was going to dive into the ocean for it.. I couldn’t believe they were willing to do such a generous thing for us - even if they had not found it, the willingness to try blew me away. Poor Will stripped down to his jocks in the dark, and dove to find the phone. Within about 20 seconds he returned to the surface, phone in hand. These blokes don’t know how many pivotal memories they had just saved. My husband and I are ETERNALLY grateful and don’t know how to thank them enough.. I tried to offer the boys a $100 tip and they refused to take it. Thank you so much Temptation, Will and Quinn for making the last night of our honeymoon happy and memorable. It’s obvious you love...
Read moreA magical and unforgettable experience swimming so close to wild dolphins. The crew (3 marine biologists) are passionate about dolphins and share facts as well as being careful to respect these wild animals. We saw many dolphins from the boat throughout our journey and observed some interesting tail flappping behaviour at times. We were lucky enough to see both species - bottlenose and common. Some pods of dolphins were busy feeding and doing other dolphin-life activities so they weren't always in the mood to interact with us but the crew moved the boat to different areas to increase our chances of interaction. You must be patient to see them swimming close to you but when you do, it's incredible. We had the best luck with 2-4 dolphins swimming right in front of us in the front net for 3 minutes. Got some amazing go pro video footage. Only had a couple of brief glances of dolphins when in the water at the back of the boat but the crew do their best to ensure everyone has a chance at having some underwater interaction. There is quite a lot of water pressure/turbulence when holding onto the ropes at the back and in the front net, but they will slow the boat when they spot dolphins and let you know where to look and when which is helpful! You can rest at any time and many people just stayed on the deck and watched from the boat. My only complaint is that the snorkel mouthpiece on many snorkels were broken so they easily fall out of your mouth especially with the high water pressure and you don't want to be mucking around with trying to keep it in your mouth when the dolphins swim by, so my only suggestion would be for the crew to buy some new snorkels or bring your own from home if you have one. Highly...
