North Indian Cuisine has fulfilled many times not just the belly but the heart and soul of me and my many happy friends. Reasonably priced food that is put together not to just make a buck, but rather to inspire hope and health in ways that you would think would only come from food of the home. But that's the thing, N.I.C is home. Home to me, and home to many other happy customers. I would like to use this written statement to personally thank all who has been involved in making this business a reality and I know that the pure strength of the symbiotic relationship between NIC's customers and the worker's will forever keep this beautiful haven alive <3

Very disappointed. We ordered 3 meat curries which came in the same container. Why would you send all the three curries in same container. My niece does not eat beef. The chicken, the beef and the lamb were mixed in the same container. At least put it in a separate container doesn’t matter if the container is small. And the whole container of 3 barely tasty meat curries cost us more than $28. It is not cheap, not worth it. And even though it is a 3 curry deal, why on earth would u have offer like that where you literally mix all three curries in same container? Would you mix 3 different curries and eat? Common sense. I usually won’t even complain if the food is not nice but it is just unfair to put 3 of the completely different meat curries in same container for that price. Not good. 😪

Had the worst experience tonight. Would give zero stars if I could! Ordered 2x large meat curry deals which is 3 curries, rice, naan bread and and a can of soft drink. I also ordered an extra 2x naan bread and papadums for 2 adults, 2 kids. The total was $82+. For a start, the 5 curries we chose came in two containers! Not great for the littlies when one of the curries was vindaloo! $80 would usually feed 2 adults and 2 kids easily, but I had to make toasties afterwards! I called the restaurant to complain about the curries mixed together but was told this is the way they always do it. Would have been nice to know this before I ordered... This is what we got for $82.

A busy little spot next to Glenelg beach offering a wide variety of curries for extremely generous prices. To my surprise, the portions are really good for the price. The have more than 10 curry options, with 4 vegetarian options. Service could be improved. The ‘eat in with rice’ could also be improved by separating the curries into little bowls instead of throwing all your 3 curries ( all together) on top of the rice. Garlic Naan was underwhelming and lacked flavor. I do not recommend it. Overall, I extremely recommend this place for its price and food portion.

Been to this place many times, always value for money . The place isn’t fancy , and the food is good and it’s a great institution. Dishes are full of flavour and sauces are thick and plentiful. Lots of dietary options , and plenty of choices for vegetarians , as well as for those who don’t like their food too spicy . The staff are always cooking , so food is warm and fresh . Kids always love the Naan bread , and there are a few choices for those as well . A great local place for a satisfying meal that doesn’t break the bank .

This place has delicious curry food. I had the beef vindaloo which is nice and spicy, big & generous portions. I like the butter chicken & love the lamb korma nice and tender, not so much on the chicken masala flavour here. The cheese & garlic Nan bread was great but not the best I’ve had. The veg eggplant is fresh and spicy, I like it. The mango lassi was really good & tasty just right.😍😋👍Fast service, friendly staff, comfortable sitting and nice aroma. Thanks guys. Recommended here.
