We went there this morning for breaky with our toddler. We sat in the indoor space as we knew the cafe allowed dogs and wanted to sit away from dogs in the outdoor area. We sat down and ordered breaky which was a hassle as they would not remove the sourdough which my partner can’t eat or the mushrooms, stating they can’t make alternations on a public holiday. After ordering our toddler was playing on the carpet that we realised had dog hair and stains all over it as did the seat cushions. We then looked around and realised there were dogs in the indoor eating area! Is that even legal in Qld? Needless to say we cancelled our breakfast order, drank our coffee and left. Definitely not children friendly or hygenic.
Response to reply. We have eaten here before and had coffee here numerous times. Never with our toddler and never in the indoor area. We did express our disdain at the seating and menu to the waitress on the day and she offered no help that is why we left. This was the situation on the day we were there. I do agree though there are plenty other great cafes in out area for kids and yours is good for those that want to eat...
Read moreAbsolutely lovely food — every bite was delicious — but what really stood out to me was the manager, Tony. Quirky, funny, patient, reassuring, and genuinely sweet. From one business owner to another, I sincerely hope the owners of Frenchies Café realise how truly incredible it is to have someone like that representing their business.

The manager’s warmth and authenticity lifted the entire atmosphere. He made me feel genuinely welcome and valued as a customer, which is so rare these days.
Because of him, I’d recommend this café again and again — not only for the great food, but for the energy, atmosphere, and care that makes the whole experience memorable. Tony, you absolutely made my day. You deserve every bit of appreciation that...
Read moreOverall poor consistent experience after a 3rd visit. The wait staff were very friendly but that was the only thing positive about my experience. My coffee came out quite slow which isnt usually an issue for me untill people served after me were given coffee first, especially annoying since I only had a long black. The coffee itself was burnt and the group head was not sterilized properly prior to the draw as a cremour of extract oil was on top of my coffee as a result of old grind being in the group head. The milk jug provided also had old coffee stains the side of the jug and the inside look liked it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in some time with lots of coffee and milk stains inside it. I would have much prefered the milk served in a small take away cup instead of a dirty jug. The Barista himself was not friendly and rushed away before I could even ask for some sweeteners.
I wont be...
