An unquestionably amazing effort from Justin, Eliza and the Team at The Tasty Pocket. Updating my review after 3 years because it doesn't encapsulate the variety of fresh flavours provided by the friendly team at their new Restaurant location! Well done to you all.

It says a lot that for $18 you can go and get a feed that will both taste good and be filling. Or if you are in the mood for sharing a lighter meal with friends sharing plates start at $15 and are well placed for a quick afternoon catch up with mates. Plus desserts for those with a sweet tooth!

There are many exotic sharing entrees to round out the menu; Saganaki with home made Honey and Chilli, Octopus in a zesty citrus sauce, Haloumi fried to perfection and the ever present Lamb Kofta, with many more to choose from.

Never one to rest the Chef has even crafted a well rounded Children's menu, with consideration made to those with specific eating habits.

I am rambling on here but there's too much to say. Good job doesn't justify it. Great job, every time is better and I can't wait to see how it evolves with time.

An absolute contender in the Wynnum food scene. I had a birthday dinner of 13 people and we were all well served with a great atmosphere for discussion.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Tasty Pocket last night, and it was an unforgettable experience. The venue is stunning, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. The staff were exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the evening further adding a more personal and welcoming feel to the experience.

The food was nothing short of amazing. We started with the fried halloumi and dip of the day with pita before trying the chicken souvlaki and lamb kofta which were all delicious. The calamari was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing too.

The highlight for me was the special of the week, the crispy prawn dish with herbed capsicum sauce and feta – it was absolutely outstanding. The chicken pocket is also a standout and my standard go-to order when ordering from either venue or van. Every dish was crafted with care and tasted incredible and left our entire table feeling very happy with our choice of dinner venue.

The Tasty Pocket is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and a fantastic dining experience. I can't recommend it enough!

We tried The Tasty Pocket for the first time today. My wife has some specific dietary requirements but we were hoping she would be able to still eat here. The chef was absolutely wonderful - he discussed what she could and couldn't eat and offered up some suggestions that worked for her. The young lady serving us, Maya, was extremely helpful and super friendly and looked after us really well. And the food? Wow. The food was incredibly tasty. Even my daughter, who is a super picky eater, smashed the kid's chicken and cheese pocket! The calamari (coated in potato and rice flour so no gluten) was cooked perfectly and was very tasty.
