A very plush shopping centre. Less the sort of place to go for anything practical (though there is a Coles) and more the place for a day of window shopping with the girls. Be warned: the shops tend towards the expensive side - Burberry, Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton and more posh little boutiques than you can shake a diamond-encrusted stick at. That said, the food court on the bottom floor tends to be a bit more raucous. Situated on a line between Central station and the Queen Street Mall a lot of people seem to cut through the Plaza and many of them seem to stop to have lunch. This is unsurprising - there are a number tasty and healthy options and it's always clean. This is one part of the shopping centre that isn't too expensive. As you go up the levels the Plaza gets quieter and there is an awful lot of marble, glass and beautiful shiny things in the decor. It's a great place to wear your fanciest stilettos and maybe sit in the nice chocolate and coffee shop overlooking the mall.

It's not often I am shocked by cutomer service standards by staff. But to witness what one of your so called Prestige Tenants did to a customer yesterday, when she was not happy with the standard of her nails and she refused to pay, goes below Queens Plaza prestigious standards and far more. Whilst I don't condone someone refusing to pay, what they did to this customer was unacceptable. They dragged her back into the nail salon, by the arms, and slapped her across the face, and closed the doors, holding her in the nail salon. Until your Centre Security arrived. For what? $60? They assaulted a young, well dressed female customer in front of everyone, which in itself was appalling to witness. Their tenancy should be voided. This is not up to Queens Plaza Standards as a Tenant, Not for the Prestige of the surroundings tenants. The staff should be appalled in the manner in which they handled this young girl. In the least, Look at re-branding their Nail salon to, "UnProfessioNail"

Who's got the looks? Who's got the brains? Who's got everything? I've got this pain in my heart, that's all Hey you, with the long hair, lonely face Well, there's gotta be somethin' else Let me tell you somethin' else There was a girl who passed me by She gave a smile but I was shy And I looked down, so down Don't look down, no, no Go, go underground And now there's a place to go It's the morning, now it's the evening It's everything I click my heels and I'm there Underground, underground Everything's heavy underground (Underground) You been kicked around? (Underground) Did life bring you down here? Everything's heavy underground

I like the Mall area of Brisbane cbd! Despite spending a few days walking around the cbd, I must admit I still gets lost! Attending the free city guided walk helped me a little. I learn that all the street with ladies names are parallel to each other, and all the streets with guys names are perpendicular to the ladies! I am really impressed with the public transport system in Brisbane! How cool is that! Dedicated bus lanes to take passengers right to the bus station in the basement in the middle of cbd!

Not much has changed in Brisbane, in 20 years, same paper sellers hounding at the lights, etc Christmas decorations in the mall were quite cute, gardens were looking good, Christmas street music, old buildings, just Brisbane... decent reading places is lacking, all Asian inspired foods in most food courts in the mall. But it felt safe to walk through during the day, kids first time in town as older kids and they thought it was amazing. Would love to see it a bit more Christmassy but that's just me.

This is the shopping center where the most expensive brands of the city are sold. The variety at the food court is sufficient. It is in a very central location.
