Lemak Fried Chicken brings a unique twist to the classic fried chicken experience, infusing it with rich, aromatic flavors typically found in Nasi Lemak. The chicken is crispy on the outside, boasting a satisfying crunch with each bite, while the inside remains juicy and tender. Read moreI used to love Lemak when they were still in Macarthur, and used to go there at least twice a week because it was that good. However, now that they opened their store in Queens Plaza, they have increased their price (which I didn’t mind at all) but they have massively reduced the quality of their products. The chicken gets fried and left on a tray, leaving it cold and soggy. The rice is also cold which is really disappointing. I even asked if the chicken is hot, and they answered they can refry it for me. Mind you, it’s a small stall that only needs one person at the counter and one cooking at the back. Your price increase doesn’t justify the quality. I’m not paying for a cold piece of chicken or reheated. Why couldn’t you do the same service as you did before? Do better or close down and give the space to someone who truly cares about the quality of their products. Go to KFC instead if you’re after...

Never thought I’d find the best Char Kway Teow tucked away in a food court, but Lemak in Queens Plaza completely blew me away. Honestly, if you know, you know — this place brings back serious memories of Malaysia.
The dish is fragrant, smoky, and perfectly balanced. Generous portion too. It’s got all the right elements: wok hei, lap cheong (Chinese sausage), fresh chives, and that slightly chewy noodle texture done just right. Pro tip: ask for sambal and tell them to cook it extra hot — Asian level. You won’t regret it.
Unassuming little stall, but absolute flavour bomb. This is the kind of place you tell your friends about like it’s a secret. A must for anyone craving proper Malaysian street food vibes in the middle of the city. May I recommend coming outside of the crazy lunch hour or early...
