Our wedding at The Bethnal was everything we had envisioned—laid-back, beautiful, and truly unforgettable. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, and we couldn’t have asked for better support from Lauren and her team.

Lauren was an absolute gem, guiding us through every step with professionalism and warmth. She was always contactable, quick to respond, and completely transparent, making what could have been a stressful process feel effortless.

The vendors included in the wedding packages were outstanding. Our celebrant, Venita, was incredible—her passion for love and weddings shone through in every interaction. Red Seven Group Entertainment provided an amazing DJ, Helen, who curated the perfect playlist based on our taste while keeping the dance floor alive by taking guest requests.

The food was another highlight—every single guest raved about how delicious it was! And not to mention the beer, which is absolutely always top-notch at Range (the adjoined brewery that my husband and I now frequent).

The Bethnal is a stunning venue. The staff are all such a vibe, the aesthetic is superb, the service is lovely, and the events team are incredible. Would recommend, 11/10.

Lauren helped me put together a plan for my 30th and the event ran so smoothly and was honestly the perf night. The space was great with the amount of people I had and the options I had for decor and layout were so clear and easy to visualise. I had 45 people attend cocktail and it was spacious without feeling too empty, but you could easily have more people in the room without it feeling cramped. The balance was chefs kiss. The food was excellent for the amount of people, delishhhh, the service was so great from all the staff, and everyone had a really great time.

As a wedding photographer I have to add that this venue is a flipping incred choice for literally any event. Whether it's a birthday event like mine, or a full-blown wedding, the team at Bethnal are attentive, fun, and clearly love pulling off a magical event for people regardless of the occasion. Couldn't speak higher of them if I tried.

We celebrated my daughter's 21st with the Bethnal in May 2025 and everyone had a wonderful time. The venue has such a great space for events and I was able to have some fairy lights installed to give the space a beautiful vibe. With the backdrop of the wine barrels, the disco ball and the projector, we had what felt like a unique but private and functional space that was just gorgeous. I loved that we were just out of the city so it didn't feel chaotic and our guests were surprised they had not heard of this great venue previously. Lauren and her team were just amazing! So organised, so calm and very helpful with the planning, bump in and out times, the bar and food, everything was just easy and enjoyable. The pizza station was awesome and definitely more than enough to keep everyone happy, everyone loved the food. I absolutely recommend this venue to anyone wanting a stress free event.
