Great spot to watch the high and low tides come in and out during each day. Make sure you check what time the tides change and the times do differ each day. You can jump on to a website to see tidal times for each day or pick up a street/Broome map from the tourist info or car hire place and they have the times for each day.. It's such an amazing thing to witness how fast the tides change and the beautiful clear water but kind of milky-green colour. Very historic place and it is one end of Broome’s Jetty to Jetty walk. Streeter’s Jetty is heritage structure situated near Chinatown and was originally built for the pearling industry in the late 1800s. It’s served as a key departure point during Brooke’s pearling heyday.
