Had a quick look on TripAdvisor and this was the no 1 cafe in busso. Went for lunch, and ohh boy the only flavour we got out of every dish was sugar sweet. Ordered two milkshakes which were massive for the price, vanilla was good but strawberry had too much syrup and was extremely sweet. I know it's supposed to be sweet, but this was way over. Portobello mushrooms was a disgrace, 3 overcooked medium mushy mushrooms with 2 thin slices of Halloumi and some rocket that look liked it was at least 10 days past it best before date. Balsamic glaze was on the heavy side which made the dish almost like a dessert. Ordered the mango chicken Burger, burger buns was massive but dry as. The burger itself had a lot of salads but was poorly constructed. The chicken was cold, and in pieces, which meant it was all just a mess. The boy on the counter advised that the burger does not come with any sides, so I added a bowl of chips. The burger came with the side of chips and the extra bowl of chips came as well. Ended up with too much chips and payed for stuff that I didn't really want. I don't know if it was the selection of my meals, but my experience was terrible for the price I paid. Last time I was in Busselton I've had way better meals at...

This is definitely our new favourite cafe! We went for breakfast this morning and got the most wonderful welcome from Roger as well as the chefs. It was very difficult to choose as everything on the menu looked so good, but we went for the big breakfast-well, they weren't kidding-it's massive! Everything was cooked to perfection and couldn't be faulted (even crispy bacon) The sausages are so tasty and obviously good quality as there was no grease or gristle. Roger came out to ask if we were satisfied with our breakfast and during the conversation, we mentioned how much we love Hollandaise sauce and that we nearly ordered the Benedict . Well, he brought out a ramekin with the sauce for us to try and wow...it was just about perfect! There are lots of gluten free choices and they charge no extra. All of the staff are just lovely and the cafe is not far off the main street and it's charming. There is outdoor and indoor seating and dogs are welcome too. (we even noticed they had doggie treats in a jar on the counter). This place deserves all of its rave reviews. We can't wait to go back:) They really know what...

Bonza brekky! I got the tradie and a long black and I’m pretty sure I did harm to myself eating too much. Rest of the table got eggs on toast, fruit toast and pancakes. Clean plates and full bellies.

Has A/C so good joint now that Douth summers are 35+!

It’s also called Allen’s Cafe, for some reason, so keep an eye out for the sign.

Busselton’s so good. We went snorkelling on the jetty basically by accident because my platonic life partner’s Apple Watch fell off when we went for a dip. Turned out there’s heaps of cool coral on the jetty legs. He’s only learning to snork so we hit a few nice milestones like clearing water, diving, NOT touching coral, spitting in your mask. This isn’t specifically related to the cafe but it definitely cost a heap of energy so the massive brekky was a good refuel. Oh yeah we went for a run that night too.

Coffee is...

First time we've been back since a few ownership changes. The service was great, a good varied menu and even a menu for dogs being dog friendly. My partner ordered a continental roll which came with a toasted brioche bun when she was expecting a normal non-toasted fresh bun which caused some disappointment. I ordered a omelette with filling which also wasn't quite what I expected, it was virtually scrambled eggs. We ordered scrambled eggs for our little Jack Russell which she loved. The coffee was great. Overall a good experience and we'll try something different next time. Different cafe's and restaurants prepare their food in different ways and customers have different preferences and tastes so I would highly recommend a visit and sample their menu.
