Had an evening meal of a Thursday night. Able to easily get a seat with the place about 80% full, a good sign. The menu is not too extensive and represents honest pub fare. The prices are relative to current times. Had the cheesy garlic bread nice and tasty. The crockettes were bit on the neutral side and were effectivly deep fried mashed potatoe. Had the chook parma which was a commercial produced chicken snitz cooked ok with the usual ham, cheese and tomato base. Ok but not outstanding. The pruchetto wrapped chicken with asaragus was cooked nicely with the pumpkin fetta honey mustard puree exceptional accompanying this dish. The young bar staff waiters are on the ball, polite, busy and cleaning up tables timely. The food came out correct as ordered and appropriately timed. Tables are bare and when you place your order at the lounge counter you are supplied box containing cutlery, napkins and salt-n-pepper. The servings were large and viewing other dishes delivered to neighbouring tables they looked delicious. An honest pub deliverying honest pub fare without pretention. Stay well and...
Read moreI had the best customer service experience in Busselton here this evening. Went in after trying few restaurants turned us down as they were all closing soon so can’t accept any more dine in. Couldn’t regret the hassle, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The food was good, I asked for extra cream in my pasta and the kitchen staff were very accommodating to take my plate back to remake it with more cream. The pizza was absolutely delicious and so was the pasta. I didn’t get the names of all the front house staff who were all amazing ladies and by the smile on their face and the energy they had at work it looked like this place has a great work environment. Thanks to Lolo, a super friendly and helpful staff who ensured our food was great and that we enjoyed a great meal there and made us feel happy with her amazing customer service. Definitely going to be one of my regular places for special weekend nights. Thank you Vasse...
Read moreWent with a group on a Saturday. Strangely it was pretty quiet whereas other venues packed. Service was average. Stock standard choice of beers such as VB, Coopers, Swan etc. Oddly now has a section called “cocktail bar” but is just a dimly lit area with a very basic list of 90s cocktails seemingly off google. If you’re going to try and be a cocktail bar at least have some cocktail specials or some creativity. Other venues in town such as Banksia, The Goose etc are miles ahead in this department. As we were leaving we found a menu of different shots and layering, seems more effort was put into that then the cocktail menu or beer list. Did not eat but food going out looked decent. I think the best way to experience the Vasse would be eating out the front...
