Please consider this is not a personal attack and accept it as a feedback contribution.
Olivia is a lifeguard there and approached me in a very rude manner (calling me over with one finger) and gave me a command to stop helping my niece learn to swim. Yes with her tone and attitude that was a command. I didn’t want any trouble so I ask can you show me the policy if it’s in the policy yes of course I will stop. She showed me her attitude again and walked away. Her lifeguard supervisor came to me and said as long as we consider you are conducting swimming lesson we have rights to stop you from doing that. We don’t have to provide evidence. That’s sounds more like a bully than a professional problem solving skill.
And please Olivia, do not lie. Half of a bread is still a bread but half of the truth is not a truth. I hope you can do better next time.
I filled in the complaint with front desk staff and they said the management will contact me but it’s been nearly a week now and still nothing. Guess they are not taking it into consideration seriously.
I just wanted to say that it makes no sense and kinda ridiculous when the pool stops people from helping children being safe around water just because they think it’s a swimming lesson and refuses to provide the policy about that. Like I said, I put it here not because I wanted to release my anger or anything. It’s because I haven’t heard back from the management. I don’t want any trouble and genuinely come in peace. You’re the big pool. This small feedback not gonna make your pool looks bad but I just leave it here so you can reinvest in staff and customer service skill. Thanks...
Read moreI've been a member here for a while now, so hopefully, I can give an accurate review. Upon entry, you are greeted by staff who are friendly and very helpful. The cafe is well stocked and responsibly priced with good opening hours. The spa and hot rooms are great if you utilise this, some people tend to hover too long in the spas, but just pick your time of day. The leisure pool is great for small kids, and the big slide is perfect for everyone, even better when the bucket is working. It is disappointing when parents don't follow rules and the pool is shut because of 'contaminates'. I've never had issues finding space to swim some laps, and there is always room available. The member toilet and shower facilities are great, but when they are closed, you need to use the public rooms, which is not so much a nice experience. The shared facility (family) rooms are probably some of the most disgusting facilities I've ever used, regardless of the time of day. For this reason, I've taken a star off. The gym is tidy, clean, and modern with friendly staff. It's also a TechnoGym, so you can link everything to the app and track your workouts. I enjoy the classes, and the instructors are friendly and offer lots of alternatives. Overall, it's a great venue with...
Read moreAbsolutely love this pool. Great place for kids of all ages to play. Great shallow pool for tiny ones. Also good bubbling circle in kids pool for them, and water fountains at edge of the pool. Large waterslide for bigger kids, small elephant slide for the less adventurous children. Great amount of equipment around for children to use when it's free; noodles and kickboards. Lifesavers, attentive and watchful without being militant and over the top. Our son has swimming lessons there and adores it. He can't wait to go every week. The classes are educating, but also fun and enjoyable for children. Learning new skills is fun and enjoyable rather than an arduous task for toddlers. We tried a different local pool, Oceana on the Eastern Shore and our son hated it, asking not to go every week. Whilst the instructors were pleasant and friendly, the classes were highly regimented and there was no option to play or explore the pool before or after the class. The centre was also governed by a lot of strict rules. Signs up saying "only shower if necessary", and "don't leave the changerooms wet" even though you had to walk back through the wet pool area after leaving the changerooms to...
