Located very next to the pier, they offered one of the best service apartments. This review is for our stay at Gibson’s Mill Apartments - it is one of the buildings under them. They excelled in everything; starting from the receptionist - amiable and patiently answered all our questions. We had a very engaging conversation with her regarding the restaurants and places to see. The building they made us stay was very conveniently located to the pier, right opposite to the MONA ferry building. We got a loft, two bedroom room. Fitted with toiletries by Loccitane to the best appliances in the kitchen. They even had a towel warmer - caught me by surprise. The place was huge, we could easily throw a party. A lot of towels at the washroom and even in the bedroom wardrobe. Watch out for the steps as it can be a bit slippery especially if you wear the house slippers. The fully functional kitchen makes it ideal for every occasion whether it’s heating up the takeaway food or cooking a late night food after a drunken night. My pictures will describe this place better than the review. Loved the stay.

Penthouse room: On Entry we found that surrounding rooms could see directly into our room and especially the main bedroom. Only partial view of what was expected. We rang to voice our dissatisfaction and were told that nothing else available and the room we were put in is only used when other "Penthouse Rooms" are fully booked. Returned from dinner to find that: We can't make the room dark - blinds are useless. The fridge is noisy Traffic noise ridiculously loud. People walking and talking in the hallway is audible lucky in our room. Air conditioning units directly over head which are noisy all the time. $500 per night to not sleep. We booked 2 nights, left after 1 and would not have stayed 1 if we could have found alternative accommodation for the night. This is a noisy 3br apartment not penthouse quality. Photos taken at 10pm with blinds closed.

My partner and I have a bad experience and we feel ripped off with the hotel advertising this as a five star hotel. We stayed in sullivan cove salamanca unit 4. Amenities were very basic. Toilet does not flush well. Windows are visble in the footpath with no privacy at all. ( see photos of window) Amenities need upgrade for a place claiming to be 5 star and pricey as well ( couch needs upholstery) One would expect good value for money. When concerns of privacy was raised, we were dismissed and not even a we will consider refunding - just dismissed us. We were ripped off. Hobart has so many better places to stay with better value for money. AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost. Do your research and avoid being ripped off and having a bad experience like us. CLEARLY NOT A 5 star accomodation. What a shame.

We stayed at Salamanca Docklands. There were negatives with this apartment such as no privacy in bathrooms with glass doors, and holes cut into the glass. In particular the ensuite had no bathroom door and the person lying in bed could see the person in the shower. We got around this by opening the cupboard inside the ensuite to provide some sort of privacy and the cupboard outside facing the bedroom to block off the shower. The dining chairs need to be replaced as the leather is torn and missing. The lounges are not comfortable at all. We had internet for 2 days of our 7 day stay only which was frustrating.|However that is where the negatives end. The staff tried everything to get the internet functioning again but unfortunately it was out of their control. They kept me fully informed throughout the process. The beds were very comfortable, apartment atmosphere was amazing being in one of the old warehouses with beautiful brickwork, large windows and location was second to none. Literally walked out the door and was in the middle of the markets, restaurants, cafes, shops. I would definitely stay here again and fully recommend to anyone looking at...

We stayed recently in a one bedroom apartment on Morrison street Hobart. Had a very comfortable stay with all the necessary ammenities being provided. Would have preferred a bit of view and the exhaust fan in bathroom wasn’t working every time. My husband also complained about a little noice disturbance at night but my sleep wasn’t disturbed at all. They do supply ear plugs though in case anyone needs to use. We didn’t need to use them. Other than that everything else was perfect. Would definitely stay again if in the area. The check in was a little tricky because we were new to the area and not familiar with the streets so struggled a little to locate the main office location but once we got it, it was smooth. The fast checkout method was very helpful. The apartment was spacious and clean. Definitely met my expectations.

Parking: there’s free street parking after 5PM only but we booked the apartment parking which was secure for...
