Emu Ridge Gallery – A Must-Visit in Kuranda! Emu Ridge Gallery has an amazing range of stones, crystals, and jewels — we were especially impressed by the stunning selection of Queensland opals, which we ended up buying as gifts. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about the stones and mining process, which made the experience even more memorable. Downstairs, there’s a small museum with an impressive fossil and mineral collection that’s definitely worth checking out. Prices are very affordable, and the overall vibe is welcoming and relaxed. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Kuranda — it’s a real gem!

Amazing staff! So friendly and passionate and genuinely excited about everything they have in store and the museum. As someone who's always been very excited by rocks, gems and dinosaurs this is easily my new favourite spot in the region and I will be back constantly for my rock and dinosaur fix and to hear all about them from the very well informed and passionate owners!!

Absolutely loved this place.. stumbled across it not really realising there was even a museum downstairs. The store has an amazing range of rocks and crystals, as well as quirky collected things. One of the owners Shane was incredibly informative, told us about his collections, showed us his personal "under the counter" (not for sale) incredible crystals, and even gave us extra information in his amazing museum. Ending up spending 2hrs here. You're a stone fruit if...

Amazing place full with all different kinds of fossils and gemstones. Before i came to queensland i did some research into what kind of place this would turn out to be and what they had in the museum, and when i did finally come to the place I was blown away at the collection they had. My expectations were exceeded and in the end I was left satisfied with what I saw and what I bought. Overall the staff are really nice and it is a must see for...
