I've been to many cities around the world just to have pho — Paris, NYC, Hanoi, and so on. This place is truly amazing. Some people complain about the serving time, but I'm pretty sure they make everything on the fly (not using pre-cooked noodles).

I had a pork banh mi, special pho, and vermicelli with spring rolls (Bún chả giò). All the dishes were fantastic, and texture-wise, I can confidently say they are the best in Cairns. The broth was delicate, hot, and, most importantly, authentic — there is no freaking dominant artificial flavors at all. It’s been quite a while since I had the GREAT pho, a long time ago.

I would definitely travel all the way from the city just...

Found this spot while wondering around the markets area. It is on the Main Street connected to a small arcade, so we could sit with our dog on the arcade tables. Was not expecting much but we were really surprised. This place serves yummy food. They were flat out busy and at times they were telling customers 40 minute wait time, we waited about 20 minutes but that was ok we just people watched while we waited. The Bahn Mi and Po buns and spring rolls were all top notch. Equally as good as what we have had at other Vietnamese places and we have been to quite a few. Prices were...

Pretty chaotic experience here! Waited 45 mins for food (was told it’d be 30). I’m guessing that they had to be understaffed as there only seemed to be two of them in there, they seemed stressed and were quite rude. Hopefully just a once off or else I’d say eat somewhere else, especially if you need to make it back for your train in time!

When the noodles eventually arrived they were nice but needed sauce. The portion was big which was great as I was super hungry, and the prawns were were big and fresh.

Food - good. Service -...

I'm a big fan of Vietnamese pho, but this one doesn't do very well. Smaller and slightly more expensive, $18 a bowl of beef rice noodles. The wait should have been 10 minutes, or it could have been because there were 4~5 customers before me. Other restaurants the same beef rice noodle side dish will generally have Lime and Basil, there is none here, should not be the Vietnamese chef, I personally do not recommend, and will not come again.

Excellent Pho! We've had pho in US, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, etc. Never thought I would take the time to write a review on a Vietnamese restaurant from high up in the mountains, Kuranda, Australia! Excellent! Thank you! Made our trip up there memorable!
