Arrived at the info centre not realising on a week day it closes at 3pm. Basically the door was shut in our face and we were told they were closing. Asked a few questions the rudest woman i've ever met said she was to busy to answer question as they were closing. I volunteer at an info booth at a tourist centre. If i spoke and treated our visitors the way we were, I would be addressed by my coordinator. Visitors are your bread and butter. Most traders in Kuranda we very thankful for our visits and any purchasers. If I was a trader in Kuranda I would be very upset with the way this couple so rude. Read moreI was treated in a very rude manner by a very rude lady. Kurander is a beautiful place with lots of nice shops. Reading a great sign one of the local kids put together I missed the no entry sign through a door and entered. There was no one else in the information Center but the rude lady behind the desk was very very rude I would of loved to go in to this information Center to learn more about this great place but the lady that was in the Center was horribleness rude disrespectful inconsiderate. Read moreI have visited a lot of Tourist Information Centres during our travels in Australia and they are usually my favourite places to go first in a new city. But this one was sadly the worst I have encountered. I have never felt so unwelcome... The ladies behind the counter were arrogant and treated us like some stupid nobodies. We even gave them second chance and visited this place for the 2nd time in the same day and it was not better. I felt that I am annoying and disturbing them. Very poor customer service!!...
