I had a quick look around the area just to see what it was like. Quite a large open space by the river side. It also had a small hill where you could look out over the river. The most interesting thing here was the Angel sculpture. Colourful and full of eyes, the sculpture is something to behold. The area itself was very clean and looks like it connects to Rod Laver Arena. The paths were tidy and quite nice to walk on since most of it was under the shade of trees growing on the banks. Worth a stop if you wanted a place to relax for a bit as it didn't seem as busy as the other parks.

Watched NYE fireworks here. All round views of colour and sound. Best view in the whole city. Visited again for NYE 2019/2020. Great atmosphere, no troublemakers and genuinely the best views of the fireworks bar none! Missed the last couple due to lock downs and there being no fireworks but went for NYE 2022/2023. Still the best views IMHO. Plenty of room for the kids to run around, toilets not too far away as well as a first aid station, the 'boys in blue' (or is that black now 🤔) bring a feeling of security and plenty of families from all over the world.

I love this area for the events! The most recent is the Noodle Market which ends 27th Nov, we went Wednesday evening. They had a good amount of food stalls and bars. You can get a drink and walk through the 3 sections. They are limited with Vegan options however I got the fries with miso tofu and mushrooms and the tofu wonderbao which I always love! I recommend visiting here! A little muddy due to the rain but they place a make shift path which is helpful. There is always a good amount of toilets! I would say more seating could be required on the busier days!

Birrarung Marr is a Melbourne location of Historical significance. The land is home to indigenous culture of the Aboriginal people. Recent additions include the ArtPlay house which provides multiple activities for kids to explore and entertainment. Park grounds are very broad and undulating with rocks, stairs and obstacles to climb. Free USB charging station can be found outside the front of ArtPlay house. The park is a though fare for access from Federation Square to the Melbourne Park (Tennis Centre) and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCC).

Attended Birrarung Marr for the night food market and was impressed by event security (who were friendly), police presence, cleanliness/fast trash removal and stall layout. There was just enough seating for everyone and every single food item was delicious! Also the ground had become quite muddy and the plastic walkways made it safe for everyone to enjoy the food. Everyone from security to visitors were enjoying themselves, the diverse food and the atmosphere. Proud of my city and its event!
