This charming little park is an ideal spot for parents to catch up with friends while keeping an eye on their kids. It offers clean restroom facilities for convenience, which is always a plus when spending time outdoors. There are several picnic tables scattered throughout the park, perfect for enjoying a meal or a snack, although it's worth noting that there are no BBQ pits available. The park features plenty of open space for children to run, play, and explore, providing a safe environment for them to enjoy their activities while parents can relax nearby, engaging in pleasant conversations. Additionally, you can take a leisurely stroll along the scenic riverbank, making it a wonderful place to unwind in nature. Overall, it's a lovely local gem for families to enjoy quality time together.

The playground is down the road from Fed square & Flinders station by the Yarra river. The playground & park in a general is a quiet oasis from the general hustle & bustle of the city. The playground is mostly shady but still dried out fairly by mid afternoon despite lots of rain in the morning. A great place for toddlers with lots of energy to run around.

Wonderful expansive and open play spaces in a natural setting, and yet only a couple of hundred meters from Flinders St Station. The kids love it - especially rolling down the big grassy hill bordering the playground, and climbing on and among the huge boulders. The hammock swing and slides are some other highlights.

Looking for a place to eat fish and chips while the kids played. This place is convenient beong so close to Flinders Station and all. Sadly the birds here are so aggressive they'll swoop and take the food from your hands as you are about to eat it. This scared the kids and meant we spent a stupid amount of time 'defending' the party snacks we wanted to leave spread on the table. Also, an unfortunate design in the 'fort' had several of our kids fall over in the same place. Not a big deal really, but enough that we're not likely to make use of...
