Flinders Street Station is Australia’s oldest train station, and with its prominent green copper dome, distinctive yellow facade, arched entrance, tower, and clocks, it is one of Melbourne's most recognisable landmarks.

The station was completed in 1910, and the upper floors were purpose-built to house a library, gym, and lecture hall, later used as a ballroom. Its 708-metre main platform is the fourth longest railway platform in the world.

This is a historic train station. It is always busying. There are people available on the platform or in the train station to ask questions if you are not sure what train to catch to go to a certain place. Ther is a big board with all names of the places & what players to car the train to the place you want to travel to. This board is outside when you come up the elevated stairs & before to get out of the train station to the main Flinders Street. They have a shop if you want to purchase cooked food. They also have a Newsagent. It's always looks nice & clean the train station. People who work there are very helpful if you need any information. There is an information kiosk in the train station. The people who work in that information kiosk are very nice & very helpful & they will help you with any information you...
