I cannot fault the ice cream but the customer service is horrible depending who you get. I would like to believe that a little bit of training would go a long way, and that the staff in question are not racist but I'm not too sure. I was being served just now and witnessed the other staff (shorter female) dismiss someone for asking if the ice cream was halal and continued to berate them to the other staff, making fun of the question and the word halal, which by the way is a valid dietary question. The taller female staff seemed nicer and didn't seem to entertain what the other staff was doing. The incident took place on the evening of Monday 10 February at 6.20PM.

On another occasion, I politely offered to pay $1 extra for the nutella topping in the nutella swirl milkshake I ordered (having bought this exact item previously on several occasions). The staff insisted that she was not able to do so because it was a milkshake (it was right at the end of the process once the milkshake would have already been made and there was nothing stopping her from carrying out the request). I said this is the first time I'm hearing this to which she responded that I should come back another time then. It felt like a power play/discriminatory on the part of the staff. This was about 1 year ago on a tuesday evening.

This place is so overrated in my opinion. I admit that it’s so busy and there is always a long queue most of the time, but it’s not that good. Although I live nearby, when I’m in the mood for gelato I walk to another gelato place which is way way better. Maybe it’s just me but their gelato is too sweet, one scoop would be enough to get you a sugar rush. And it’s texture is not so creamy and soft. One more thing that I didn’t like, is that you don’t actually taste the flavour of your gelato, the Pistachio gelato doesn’t either look like was made naturally from pistachio, and for sure the taste of pistachio is not that strong. Apart from that, the service was okay, but can be improved. Every time I went there, the staff were upset or like they hate their job, maybe because it’s always busy which is totally understood but had to make that point.

Now before anyone says that I wasn’t fair in my review, I went there 3 times and tasted 4 of their best flavors according to the reviews and the recommendation of the staff for the top sales. I have been going to so many gelato places in Melbourne and I found a much better...

Extremely poor service from the staff members, they ruined our whole experience at this place. Visited here on the 11th of September around 9pm and we were treated so poorly. Two staff members showed impatience when it comes to customers trying different flavors. Is it a crime to try different flavors at a gelato shop? I think it’s crucial for customers to try especially if it’s their first time at this store. Also, they were continually chatting with one another and while it’s totally possible for them to be talking but I could just tell they’re complaining about how indecisive customers were, so it felt rude. When we were about to order one staff actually rolled her eyes, again throwing attitude in front of customers. I seriously don’t get why they would be working at a place like this when they obviously so HATE working with people.
