Cruising on a boat ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥by yourself is an absolutely wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone! There’s something so special about being out on the water, enjoying the fresh air and breathtaking views, all while having the freedom to explore at your own pace. It’s not just about the boat itself, but about the entire journey and the connection you feel with the surrounding environment.
One of the highlights for me was the opportunity to explore the city from a completely different perspective. Seeing the skyline, landmarks, and waterfront areas from the water was truly unique and so refreshing. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the city’s beauty and charm, something you can’t fully experience on land.
The peaceful atmosphere and the gentle sound of the water make it a great way to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether you’re gliding along tranquil waters or discovering hidden spots along the shoreline, the sense of freedom and adventure is unmatched.
It’s also a great activity to share with friends or family, as it’s both relaxing and exciting. You can take your time, enjoy the journey, and even bring along some snacks or drinks to make it even more fun.
I will definitely come back and do it again. It’s an experience that combines stunning views, exploration, and a sense of serenity that’s hard to find elsewhere. If you’re looking for something unique to do, cruising a boat on your own is a must-try adventure that you’ll...
Read moreWe had the best time with ON A BOAT on the Yarra. We booked an hour and a half, which was the perfect amount of time to get a great glimpse of Melbourne from the water. The views were absolutely stunning, and even on a winter’s day, it was incredibly enjoyable, just make sure to wrap up warm!
The boat itself was very comfortable, spacious, and super easy to drive, no experience needed, which really put us at ease. There was also Bluetooth connection which allowed us to play our own music, which made the whole experience even more personal and fun.
A huge shoutout to the lovely English gentleman who gave us our briefing (we’re so sorry we forgot his name!). He was so friendly, informative and reassuring, explaining everything clearly and answering any questions we had. He really made us feel confident before we set off. At the end of our trip, he even let us know that we had accidentally booked two boats instead of one, and had already organised a refund for us, which we hugely appreciated. That level of honesty and customer service was outstanding!
Overall, it was a stunning and memorable experience, and we couldn’t recommend ON A BOAT more highly. We’ll...
Read moreI would never use this business again. Our boat stopped as it was out of battery after about 40 mins into a 2 hour trip. the boat was powerless and unable to be controlled with no power. Frightening experience with other large river boats on the river. We tried to contact On A Boat staff on the 1300 but this does not work with our New Zealand mobiles. We finally got towed in by the On A Boat staff after we managed to get some one on another boat who had an Australian mobile to call them. Not a hint of an apology from staff in fact quite the opposite - rude and aggressive as if it was our fault the boat failed. The staff offered an extension of time which we could not take up as we were meeting friends for drinks before dinner after our allocated time which was almost up. When we wrote to them to ask for a refund for only the portion the boat failed, we were offered a voucher. We had already explained previously we lived overseas and this was of no use - the person at On A Boat had been made of this and so the offer was not sincere. No empathy, poor product and dishonest refund approach. I would never recommend this...
