Would've given 1 star if it wasn't for the person who actually helped us. The 2 girls that served me was condescending and doesn't know how to communicate with customers. I went in on 31/05/2025 around 4:15 pm to find the right cable. There were about 10-15 people in the store and the staff members were already occupied with other customers so I thought maybe the people in the counter might know since it's just some cable we're after. (idk JB staff structure and they all looked like they know their stuff which I'm clearly wrong) I waited behind the line and the 2 girls looked preoccupied but I heard someone saying 'next, please'. I wasn't sure which one because 1 (A) was staring at the computer screen and another 1 (B) was fidgeting with a wire. Girl B with the wire looked up and bluntly said 'next, please'. I consciously try to be nice to the cashier anywhere I go so I smiled and told her that I had a question and gave her the whole situation. I felt embarrassed to even tell her my issue because she had the 'why the f are you telling me this?' face and immediately went 'yeah, I have no idea, not my department, let me get someone to help you'. My partner and I stood in front of the counter for about good 2-3 mins when I heard the girl A next to her asking 'have they been served? what do they want?' and the girl B said 'they need something with the cable, etc'. Like I'm invisible. Then the girl B told us to move to the side like it's the most obvious thing ever and we're blocking other people. There were literally no one behind us nor anywhere within the 3 metre radius. We waited for about 5 mins before I went to find someone myself. The girl I found that seemed to be free looked annoyed when I went up to her. She was just as uninterested and unhelpful as the other 2 girls at the counter. She basically shooed me away to the cable section. I went back to the counter and waited. I was frustrated and annoyed at their attitude at this point, not the wait and I wasn't sure if my issue was even going to be solved by waiting for this magic person so I asked the girl A if it's going to take longer and the girl B next to girl A said out loud 'we're understaffed'. I was taken aback so I just stared at her and the girl A explained bluntly that they're understaffed. I then asked if they would know what I need to get and be able to help me with the issue they said they will. The person finally came and he was lovely hence the 2 stars. He was the first person from this whole exchange to apologies for the wait.

In conclusion, we weren't unhappy about the wait or you guys being understaffed. Basic manner and human decency can go a long way. I'm honestly surprised that I was treated this way because I was not rude at the start at all. My partner next to me was just as annoyed at the girls as I am because they had every chance to be decent and nice but from the get go they just didn't want to bother with us and that felt condescending. If you're not happy with your job or your work, there are plenty of other opportunities. Don't stay somewhere that makes you unhappy and bring other people down...

I went to JBHIFI on Monday 23 September hoping to pick up a Miele C3 vacuum cleaner I saw on special at JBHIFI Werribee for $369. Only to find that it was $499. The salesperson at Werribee told us originally it was $499 and on special now until sold for $369. We didn't buy it from Werribee because we didn't want to carry it with us while we were shopping. The salesperson checked for availability at Brunswick. There was 1 available. We decided to buy it from Brunswick but was disappointed to find out that the price was $499 not $369. We were told that it must be a store clearance item at Werribee. Or a managers marked down or we mistook it for another item on sale. I asked the salesperson to check with Werribee store. He did and told me he wasn't able to confirm that Miele C3 vacuum cleaner was on sale at Werribee. I rang Werribee myself and after waiting quite sometime to speak with someone I was told they couldn't confirm that Miele C3 was on sale or it may have been taken off sale overnight. I was disappointed to say the least with the poor customer service we received at both stores. We weren't believed..they made excuses and never accepted responsibility. I am sure if they wanted to they could quite easily found out the salesperson we spoke to at Werribee and they could have confirmed our story. Two Miele C3 boxes ( red ) with grey coloured vacuum cleaners in it were clearly marked with a sale sticker for $369. Yet mysteriously on the Monday they had gone back up to $499 and excuse after excuse. Poor customer that's all I have to say...own up...

Recently I bought nothing phone 3a pro phone from JB HI-FI. Phone got issues with network, I never had that issue with my network operator which amaysim optus branch with my old phone everything sims working. when I switch to this new device all of the sudden phone gonne in to emergency only and sometimes no internet I can call and text, only but I can't use some of my everyday applications like uber driver app, uber is my second job as well as can't use other uber app like uber eat I can't access mygov from nothing phone but no problem with my old phone I'm just confused.I contacted amaysim regarding network connection and coverages no issues and I call uber nothing wrong with my account. I have been to JBHIFI Barkly square Lady told me we don't deal with phone malfunctioning she suggest me to visit phone repair shop next to their shop for this brand new phone I just purchased from them, I have no clue what phone repair do with brand new phone that can't let you use some applications and website. debug and lagging phone require manufacturer attention not unprofessional phone repairer if I take to phone repairs I loose warranty that's what they want. Funny nothing company told me too we don't deal with JB HI-FI and Amazon buyer just talk to JB HI-FI lol this issues require consumer affairs I believe.
