There are a lot of hidden gems in Stirling Gardens.. even though it doesn't look very large.. see if you can find the following- -Ore obelisk (with some of the minerals mined in WA) - Snugglepot and Cuddlepie - the 4 legal quills - the Kangaroos drinking at the billabong - the statue of Lord Forrest ( No, not Twiggy..but maybe a predecessor) - the old Supreme court museum building ( which is also the oldest building in the CBD) and - the WA Court of Appeal (which sits on way and reclaimed from the river)!!

great place to grab your lunch and chill out.

Stirling Gardens sit north of the Supreme Court Building, built in 1903, while to the south lie the Supreme Court Gardens. The northern end of the gardens are accessible from St George's Terrace, and from the east off Barrack Street. On a nice day there are benches and lots of well kept lawn to stretch out on and read a book (look at your phone) or enjoy your lunch. From the gardens it's a short walk to Elizabeth Quay or head south of the Court to the Supreme Court Gardens.

A great place to have a roam around and be a tourist. Supreme court also is an attraction as the building has history. Be aware there is only certain times of the year that Supreme Court is open for tours. But as for Supreme court business end each day is different and open to the public. Spring is fabulous to have a stroll through the Gardens as well. For those with sense of adventure and lovers of flowers and plants come along to the Supreme Court Gardens. You eont be disappointed. There also is a fabulous restaurant across the street with fabulous views of the Swan River. Enjoy and come and see. Be...
