We visited Elizabeth Quay in Perth on a beautiful day with temperatures soaring to a warm 94°F by 11:00 am was an unforgettable experience! Despite the heat, the gentle breeze coming off the Swan River made the atmosphere feel refreshing and inviting. The vibrant energy of the quay was captivating. The iconic Elizabeth Quay Bridge arched gracefully against the clear blue sky, offering picture-perfect views in every direction. Walking along the promenade, I was mesmerized by the mix of modern architecture and natural beauty—the interplay of sunlight on the water was simply enchanting. The area had a delightful buzz, with locals and tourists enjoying the cafes, ice cream stands, and shady spots under the trees. I indulged in a cold, creamy gelato that was just perfect for the weather. The children’s water playground was a highlight, with its playful fountains providing relief and laughter for families. I also loved exploring the Spanda sculpture, its elegant curves almost mirroring the movement of the river. It’s such a tranquil and artistic centerpiece, blending seamlessly with the quay’s lively yet serene ambiance. The restaurants and bars looked tempting for a longer stay, but my favorite part was just soaking in the views while sitting on a bench overlooking the river. Watching ferries glide across the water and listening to the gentle lapping of the waves was the perfect way to enjoy this stunning waterfront precinct. Elizabeth Quay truly embodies Perth’s relaxed yet vibrant spirit, and it’s an absolute must-visit for anyone in the city. I can’t wait to return!

Elizabeth Quay is a great spot to visit in Perth. Conveniently located in the city center, it’s easy to get to. The closest parking is at CPP Terrace Road, just a short walk to the Esplanade. For a quick visit, off-street parking near the Bell Tower or the Ritz Carlton is also a great option. Whether you visit during the day or at night, the Quay is perfect for a leisurely stroll. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and gelato shops around, making it a great place to relax, especially on a warm day. For the best experience, I’d recommend going at sunset—the view from the bridge is absolutely breathtaking! During summer, Elizabeth Quay hosts lots of events, like light shows and fireworks. I visited during the Elizabeth Quay Fun Fair and loved the vibrant atmosphere, with plenty of rides and activities for families and kids. It’s also a ferry hub, offering easy access to Rottnest Island or South Perth, with the South Perth ferry being a quick and convenient 8-minute trip. Elizabeth Quay is a wonderful blend of scenic views, entertainment, and convenience. A must visit when in Perth :)

Elizabeth Quays, well she is one fine lady right in the heart of Perth WA, she brings life to the CBD... you can feel Christmas when you step foot into Elizabeth Quay, there is a masterpiece that you will discover this year of hand carved sand castles you must go to see it during the day or stay for the sunset and the sand castle nativity will come to life as if they are living there... You will see the Elizabeth Quay Christmas fun carnival situated right next to the Carousel 🎠 that has been hand painted it is a work of art inspired by the 🎠 in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris... You can grab a beer or wine or whatever you fancy and some food at the handful of bars that are on the front door step in Elizabeth Quay and as the sunsets the Quay comes to life with gorgeous lighting and music... grab yourself a gelato there are delicious flavours... Make yourself a Christmas bauble or decorate a gingerbread man its something special and yes do it as an adult... Go visit Elizabeth Quay she is a lady ... xo

Elizabeth Quay has been turned into an Advent Funfair in the lead up to Christmas ! With rides that would rival any Royal Show in Australia, the wild screws and shrieks of giddy youngsters spinning around is a testimony of the fun to be had! Coupled with a dazzlingly colourful light display and a live band blaring from one of the many restaurants around the Bay, this venue has been transformed into an entertainment venue for all ages and budgets! What a great precinct for safe family fun and entertainment. (I just hope the people living in the apartments overlooking the area have good soundproofing on their doors & windows!) Great venue for families with teenagers and school-aged kids. The nearby restaurants were doing a roaring trade with office parties and other informal get-togethers. It has a party vibe rarely found in Perth. Highly recommended . Free entry... no tickets required.

This is a very beautiful Quay in Perth City. We took a cool and leisurely walk around the city and chose to this area to end our walk, visiting the Quay, walk over the bridge and to the Bell tower. Perhaps because it was a bright blue and cooling day, every photo seems to turn out well. We were lucky to encounter an cute little bird (some googling later found out its called a "Willie Wagtail") that keeps wagging it's tail (reminds me of moulin rouge)! Very cute! And an Australian Darter - quite a big bird with neck that looked like a snake! The bay area has lots of photo opportunity of high rise beautiful buildings reflected on blue clear waters. There is also a nice playground where the kids had a quick run over the ropes, nets and slides, before we walk to the bell tower. Could hear the bells ringing a beautiful song (don't ask me the name of the song).
