We Escaped — and Absolutely Loved It! The Epigroup team headed to Escape This on Hay Street in the Perth CBD for our EOFY celebration last Friday and honestly, it was BLOODY BRILLIANT!!!

From the moment we arrived, the energy was electric. The staff were super friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what they do, setting the scene perfectly for the adventure ahead. We split into teams and took on a few of the themed escape rooms, each one packed with clever puzzles, immersive storylines, and just the right amount of pressure to keep things exciting (and competitive 😅).

The level of detail in the rooms was honestly...next-level! Whether you were unravelling clues in a haunted mansion or trying to break out of a prison cell, it felt like you were in it - and we’re still talking about some of the plot twists and “aha!” moments.

My partner and I have tackled four different rooms at Escape This on Hay Street Mall, and every visit has been memorable. We began with High Noon, then moved on to Hotel Murder Mystery, Hitman, and finally Captain Nemo. Each time, the Game Masters; Mia D, James, and Matthew made the experience stand out. Their quick wit, spot-on humour made the experience even more enjoyable. They always matched our energy.

As for the rooms themselves, they’re some of the best I’ve come across. The design and attention to detail are incredible. Hotel Murder Mystery left me completely mind-blown at the way it all comes together. High Noon is simpler but still engaging, while Hitman and Captain Nemo really shine for groups looking for a challenge. We played Captain Nemo with eight people and, even in the smallest spaces, it never once felt cramped or uncomfortable.

Overall, this venue is easily one of the top escape room places I’d recommend in Perth. Great staff, amazing puzzles, and a fantastic...

My friends and I tried our very first escape room together for halloween and we can all agree it was the best decision! We did the “Hotel: Murder Mystery” and Mia P. made it such a fun first experience! There was a minor mistake in the escape room (we opened something we weren’t supposed to open so early on 😂) but she was super nice, helpful and light-hearted throughout the whole time! We unfortunately did not escape the room on time, but she was really kind to show us the last step we otherwise wouldn’t have gotten to do. The whole time was full of both nonstop laughing and serious detective mode. So regardless, the experience was something I hope to do again soon :)
