What a stunning light house on Rottnest Island, such a great view of it from Pinky’s Beach and easy access from The Discovery Centre Pinky’s where we were staying. Make sure you keep an eye on the current. The first few days the waves stopped you from being able to walk to it. But finally day 3 I was able to walk along the beach then up the stairs to the base of the light house. It’s an easy walk and a lovely view whilst there. It’s safe for children and elderly to walk to it. You can also access it from another point so you don’t have to walk on the beach to get to it. The sunrise photos are my favourite and the sunset video was so nice to take whilst sitting on the stairs to the beach. It’s free to walk around and...

We chance upon the lighthouse while trekking along on the island. Superb view and you can view the magnificent waves and clear sapphire blue waters. Beautiful sky that day and I managed to capture great shots there of my family. We tried to have a small picnic there but the seagulls were nasty and pretty persistent. We ended up opting out of picnic due to those birds. Overall, a recommended place but you don't have a (or any place) to set down for food break. So eat...

They should turn this lighthouse into a giant bug zapper! Why is nobody warning other visitors about this land of the flies?! Bring a face net.... orelse suffer the consequences! There should be more warnings about this fly plagued piece of beauty. Without one i would 100% recommend rotting in your nest i stead of visiting rottnest! Lighthous is okay. But needed to vent somewhere about this monstrosity of an island. Good mango daiquiries at...

Rottnest Island is an amazing place to explore. We’ll worth the day trip or a overnight stay. We’ll worth jumping on a bike and explore the island. Bathurst Lighthouse is one of the cool places to visit. Amazing views and easy to get to. Can can access with a bike, or walk. Bathurst Lighthouse is a short walk from the main town area. Pinkie’s beach is amazing and worth taking a towel and just sit back and relax a bit. Enjoy!
