Read moreSo, my wife and I ordered The Big Breakfast and a Chicken Ceasar wrap. A coffee twister and an orange juice. Well, I wanted an orange juice but they were out, so I ordered a Lemon Chill. 15 minutes later, the food came out, without the drinks. The wrap was ok but seriously lacking in chicken. The Big Breakfast had an under done pork sausage. The hash brown was also under done, not crispy or brown just soggy. There was no butter for the bread, emphasis on bread and not toast because for some reason the bread wasn't toasted. The bacon was limp and lacked colour and somehow also lacked flavour? The mushrooms were fine. So, after eating about half our meals we realised our drinks still weren't out and unsure where they were. I went up to the counter to ask and the woman behind the counter had to go back to the till were I paid, and go through the receipts to find our order. For some reason she didn't print it out and pass it to the drinks team? Head back to the table and a little while later my drink, the Lemon Chill came out. No coffee twister. Obviously the twister takes longer to make so we waited patiently again. 5 minutes later I asked a waiter to double check. He goes back to counter. There is a conversation. He comes back and asks just the coffee, I say yes, I've got my lemon chill. He goes back. 5 minutes later, still no coffee twister. By this time we've finished our meals. I go back to the counter myself. Speak to the same woman behind the counter. She has to go back through the receipts again to find my order... Anyway, after about 45 minutes, we finally get the coffee twister, which was missing the coffee beans, in a takeaway cup, about 10 minutes after we'd already finished our food. The Lemon Chill was...
Read moreVery weird experience. There were still a few full tables inside and couple people sitting outside when we arrived and we spent a few minutes deciding what to eat (menu is huge! like a full pamphlet with photographs of every item) then when I went to the bar to order food and drinks, I was told they weren’t serving alcohol at this time, I asked what time they start serving it (it was around 2:30 so I thought we were early and they maybe didn’t start serving til 5pm or something) and they said we stopped serving at 2pm. I reordered another couple of drinks to be told they were sold out. Then I said we will just order the food and go elsewhere for drinks. Anyway, as we’re waiting for the food the restaurant starting getting packed up around us and the doors were being locked. We were very confused! Only to realise they were actually closing in 15 minutes! At 3pm! Have no clue why the guy at the bar didn’t just say this to us, but he did have an attitude and clearly hated his job, as did the other staff. Wasn’t a pleasant customer service experience. And so when our food finally came, we felt super rushed to eat it. It was very basic food, very overpriced and looked nothing like the pictures on the menu. Definitely wouldn’t have ordered if we knew it was closing, a lot of stuff sold out/not being served and would have...
