I attended Tim Minchin’s opening night at the Foundry Theatre, and it was a complete disaster. My guest and I were seated at the end of the third row, and throughout the show, camera crews and staff kept walking up and down the aisles filming the audience—right next to us. No prior warning nor a timely option to move was given. It was so disruptive and disconcerting that we left before the interval.
I'd spent almost $300 spent on tickets and parking, and felt a refund was warranted, but the Foundry refused to reimburse me. You'd think that in the circumstances they'd respond with a bit more goodwill. Hope they do better...
Read moreWe were changed from front row tickets to seats several rows back in the rear section. This was not mentioned to us when we picked up the tickets at the box office on the day of the show. There was no actual problem with the seats we had booked because we were able to sit in those seats two nights later. We not only missed out on front row seats but, we were unable to sit next to our friend who had travelled from Japan to see the opening of the theatre.
